Hi all:
I am not posting a definate “warning”, but more of an anecdotal experience I had with The Player’s SuperBook sports betting and casino (Bogart’s Casino) program.
Their stats reporting is poor. Aside from the monthly click count, there is no listing of downloads, player sign ups, etc… All information that is very helpful to affiliates. Instead, all I got was a “There was no activity in your account” message and the total click count.
Over about a 5 week period I received no income from them at all, despite advertizing heavily on my lead sports betting site that is ranked in the top 20 in Google for keyword “sports betting”.
After I ditched this program, I signed up with GameDay Affiliates as recommended by the Professor’s list of best affiliate programs on this site’s homepage.
Well, I immediately got account signups, and even some players who lost money equaling commission for me. Though the 20% commission is a little modest, I can’t complain about the fact that I have made money with this site after a week of advertizing versus the Player’s Sports Book that brought me nothing in 5 weeks.
FYI: I was contacted via phone about the Player’s SuperBook offer by some marketing company…This seems to be their M.O. and I would be very discreet and to the point with these people, as I have continued to get phone calls asking for advertizing space on my small network of 8 sites….
