As for Star Partners we took them down for the most part and not going to put them back up.Will see what everyone is saying in 3-6 months on these guys and decide .
agree. I told Conrad I’m sending a little traffic according to their stats and they convert terrible (for me) so I told C that if they can do something with the traffic that is coming in then I’ll be inclined to increase exposure but the theory of send more traffic to increase conversions just doesn’t work with me.
I further explained to him if he checked my history he’d see I started off well and then as I increased exposure which should result in increased income … I saw mine dwindle from 4 figures to nothing.
That he could easily track where my income peaked and where the traffic numbers peaked and that they intersected the exact opposite of what common sense would dictate. I made most my money long before most the traffic arrived.

it will be tough to do if they stop tracking the old codes because while I agree with what CB said, If I have to chase down their links I’ll likely exchange them for a sponsor who has stats that reflect what I would expect: more money for more traffic sent.
And no my traffic (back then) did not change. It came from same consistent places and there was no reason for me to have seen that happen. Now if my income was fallen off due to winners that would have taken care of itself because as we all know in most cases the players are going to lose it back. There might be one or two that walk away but there should not have been the fall-off of income without it rebounding back to if not same levels then more. That never happened.

Just sad to see all my players go seek for other places. All prmotional effort (1 year)for nothing. But it can happen.
I just had a look at my stats and there are no real money players for the old Vegaspartner account ( i did not have my accounts merged).
for Rivernile i had 184 clicks which converted in 1 download………..never seen such a low performance for any MG program ……..
I am looking for other stuff now this can not go on 4 ever and let it ride and wait for next years performance posted by other members. I just have bad luck, sad becasue i like the casinos and promos offered to players but if none of them want to stay i do not see a reason to promote any longer.

September 25, 2008 at 7:26 am #779834playlivebingoMemberHi Rick,
Give me a chance to turn things around for you, I really would like to focus on your
properties and really give it a go. I would need your help with this in order to better
unterstand your traffic. We just need to work out what works best for your traffic.
I do believe that I can turn this around for you, and I know that this is possible
because MG even confirmed that our group was one of the most profitable over
the last quarter so there is certainly a possibilty of turning your traffic into a
solid revenue stream. You won´t be disappointed.September 25, 2008 at 1:55 pm #779862biggygMember@Star Partner 177642 wrote:

The exposure I gave former Vegas Partners at the very beginning of my aff life yielded no earnings while other MG programs managed to break into XXXX$ so I never gave them another try and what I am reading here makes me think it was the right decision.
September 25, 2008 at 4:19 pm #779876LucretiaMemberI thought i was one of the 5 poor performers LOL
because we have to change all links due to the K.C. ruling anyway, it is good opportunity for me what to keep and what has to go (SP).
The time that SP links stay on my site is limited to the time I can replace all.
I tried 3 times now and changing banners etc will not do the trick, if players leave or all stop playing this is very strange because I have loyal players from the early beginning at other MG programs. I will give the other MG prog. I have more exposure.

Gosh, I got 3 emails within two days from Conrad, a month or so ago. The emails contradicted themselves, therefore showing me they were form mails put out in masses and had no meaning behind them. One said he was at my sites and noticed I’m still promoting them, blah blah. The other said he was at my sites and noticed I’m no longer promoting them, blah, blah. I replied to the emails and got no other emails back. This was at least a month ago now. I asked him on MSN about the mails also, and asked if Antoinette was still there. He responded to me for a couple of minutes and then just went silent. I figured he was busy or had a meeting, no big deal. But never heard from him again via messenger or email.
So Conrad, you want people to give you a chance to turn things around? You guys have been asking for a chance to turn things around for a long time now, since the merge to the new Star Partners program and the problems of your stat calculations in the move over. Seems to me that we have been understanding of this, and have been giving you guys a chance. I can’t speak for anyone elses issues, and I can’t prove or disprove that I have all my players from the beginning, and if everything is working right. I don’t give you guys much exposure because of the problems and results. That could have changed though, if you had the professionalism to reply to my replies to your last mails. Or to get back to me on MSN after you just went silent mid way through a conversation.
I’ve come to the conclusion, it’s all just lip service.

I really do not want to mess up by giving them high exposure again. I probably will redirect the traffic to other MG casinos as a temporary solution. Since the beginning I encountered tracking and stats problems and Kirsten always helped me with this and gave excellent support. Since the merger the support is really hard to find and for such a big operator very strange. Forum posts are hardly noticed by SP and only things from their side seem to be important. Before the launch of SP I was thrilled to see more indepth player data and tools, but the only thing available are plain stats and nothing new really. After reading reviews from others I wish i would have been more careful in selecting programs. I am really disappointed in the way things are progressing.
the most important data is missing : player number. Why is this data not available SP ?? i can not check if a players stops playing. I think everybody wants to have this option, as well as fist played / last played, added to the stats!

September 29, 2008 at 12:06 am #780091AnonymousInactiveseems like the whole affiliate stats upgrade was done only to benefit SP by subtracting progressive jackpot revenues from earnings. other then that, the stats are quite useless as they just group up numbers and don’t provide much detail.
that was a useless information system upgrade…

October 1, 2008 at 5:26 pm #780525AnonymousInactiveI have had no issues at all with communication with this program, I don’t think lip service is going on either. They are concerned with all affiliates and respond when they can, it is a matter of understanding they were in a conference and before that all this damn Kentucky stuff happened and many other factors such as not having a large staff. All I am saying is try to be more understanding with affiliate managers these days they all have a lot on their plates since many companies are down sizing they have more duties tossed on their laps.
