Stats remain the same for days.
SP told they had a problem with the stats a few weeks ago, no update on this ?
for 1 casino 600 clicks not 1 (!) download.earnings about 80% down.
Anyone seeing better results ?
I removed 95% of all banners and links.

September 17, 2008 at 1:45 pm #778984TP2112MemberYou’re not alone!
Earnings down up to 90%!
Up to 500 clicks for one casino, no downloads.
My actual earnings is a few bucks…
At today, stats seems freezed!
September 17, 2008 at 8:53 pm #779014LucretiaMemberStrange thing : no communication or explanations for a while from SP.
How can it be that earnings are just a fraction of what it used to be ïn the good old days…………
I think posting these things is just a waste of time, there will be no change : just a unpleasant reminder of the same old story in 2004-2005 not to promote Vegaspartner/GSN if you want to keep steady profits.

September 17, 2008 at 10:58 pm #779033AnonymousInactivejust remove all their properties and forget about their existence. instead spend all this energy on promoting someone else.
even the fact that they are listed on CAP doesnt entice them to get their shit together…besides, there are enough good microgaming casinos around so no one will suffer too much.
September 18, 2008 at 5:26 am #779052LucretiaMemberyou are probably right, once they merged all H broke loose for affiliates.
the links may track clicks but not all downloads, clicks/download ratio can not be that low (0.012%).
Why are you promoting them then SF, if you tell me to remove the last 5% of the remaining banners (I will remove them anyway)?
I do not understand why most affiliates think it will be sorted out and loosing out every month.
probably because the casinos look nice and offer good bonuses was my first mistake : this does not guarantee the affiliate program is any good.
If SP would have sorted things out and helped us along the road I would not leave them. But with no support and failing tracking links you can’t count on them acting professionally, it just is not their #1 concern as it has been going on since the merger (months ago).
I would like to see a full audit on APCW for their affiliate program both new for the and old links.

im not actively promoting them anywhere. i still list them in the bottom 100 ranked casinos, but don’t promote them in top places.
September 18, 2008 at 6:28 am #779055LucretiaMemberjust found the SP casinos on your JPF site in the free play section (easy to find)
good site btw!

September 18, 2008 at 9:59 am #779071playlivebingoMemberHello Rick,
I do apologise for not being around, we have been preparing for Barcelona and that has
taken up much of time as well as getting the team ready for Barcleona.I have sent both yourself and dfiocch an email giving you a breakdown of the traffic
that you have sent us over the past number of months, including their profit and loss. You will notice in the reports that your earnings have dropped off due to previous
players that have stopped playing. I would like to say something about a comment that
made a few days ago about our apparent poor or non existent rentention statergies.Firstly I don’t think that it’s prudent for anyone to really comment on any of
existing stratergies without at least having a clear understanding of what it is
that we exactly do.We have an unfortunate fact in this business and that is all players do have a shelf life,
with the exception of those players who have the means to continue playing for many years,
these players eventually become VIPs.Yes ,we have had a problem with our stats but as I have mentioned before it has been
resolved and we have tweaked the reporting between our database and the website with
regards to the stability of the reports. From the beginning of June with the release
of the new MGS Viper download we ensured that ever possible opportunity to trap banner
tags happened, and this has been working very well, there is no room for any tags to slip
through the system we have made sure of that.We have recently completed and massive undertaking of mergering both VPL and GSN gaming
servers as well as moving the servers to Malta, this all went reltively smoothly thanks
to our development team and MGS.After having said all this, I have a question that I would like to ask you. If evey
affiliate gets the same reports and every report is calibrated in the same way. Then why is it that the usual 4 or 5 forum members insist on complaining about our
stats for the low returns that they are receiving? We have a number of well
respected affiliates of this forum and within the industry that are earning sigificant
returns on traffic and they are satisfied with the stats and the results.Could there not be another reason for your numbers dropping over the past number of months
other than our stats always being wrong? Could it be that you are seeing a high volume
of traffic coming in but low coversions due to bonus hunters and abusers taking advantage
of our very generous offers? Or could it be that the promos and bonuses that you are
displaying on your site are not suited for your specific traffic? If you send us the right players we will take care of the rest and make sure that all of your
efforts are well rewarded. I would like everyone to take that in consideration before coming
into this forum and flamming us without just cause and careful consideration.September 18, 2008 at 10:37 am #779074AnonymousGuestDo old link codes still track or did they change them when the two programs came together?
September 18, 2008 at 1:12 pm #779086biggygMemberWe dropped this program two months ago except for the review pages which really dont link from other pages .we still get few clicks and small amount of money.I think the tracking issue for us was we had old tags still up which i dont think tracked probably based on our own stats. Presently I think they are accurate as we got 170 hits and 1 real player already this month on virtual dead pages.
September 18, 2008 at 5:27 pm #779131LucretiaMemberI would like everyone to take that in consideration before coming
into this forum and flamming us without just cause and careful consideration. For your casino sites :
I helped you with pointing to empty promo pages, wrong links, index1 and index2 pages, deeplinks to phased out brands etc. Your reply : thanks for bringing that to our attention. For the affiliate program :
I do very well with the other MG casinos I promote even with the free bonuses and do not see the majority of the players leave. It could be that players changed their minds and stopped playing at the SP brands, sure, but if others see a drop in earnings too after the merger (not before) i got concerned.
You are talking about the usual 4-5 complainers about your program : I think there are more but do not want to post it for several reasons. Except those 4-5 usual complainers there are well respected CAP members that do not promote your program anymore. I do not eleborate on this.
Again if anyone thinks I am just a complainer or post incorrect things I will leave this forum instantly. No hard feelings.

September 18, 2008 at 9:18 pm #779148playlivebingoMemberI believe that we are doing and have done everything to address all of the members
concerns raised in the forum. I wasn’t refering to you being a complainer or anyone
one else, I would like you to know that we do appreciate all of the feedback that we
do recieve, without which we won’t not be in postion to improve our program. But what I was trying to bring across, is that sometimes there other influences that
would affect your revenue stream. At the times when you brought certain issues
to our attention we did address these as promptly as possible to minimise the
negative impact that it would have had. Even though sometimes we don’t repsond
to posts we were listening to you.The old tags do still work, the old tags were mapped in order to link them to the
new affiliate accounts that were created on StarPartner. We did run into a back
log when the gaming servers were mered about 2 weeks ago but all of those tags
were repaired to ensure that all of the revenue earned would be correctly allocated. We do recommend that affiliates begin using the new links as I have mentioned
before those links won’t be up for much longer. The new links are far more
diverse and allow us to build comprehensive reports for the back office function
that is on its way. The new tag is broken down as follows w123c232p001b12W- website ID this is your unique ID allocated to the specific site that the code
was requested for.C – Casino ID this allows our reports to give accurate data on the traffic that you
send us.P – Campaign ID this allows you to allocate specific IDs to any special promotions.
B – Banner ID this able us to generate banner and creative reoports giving you
the ability to see which of the banners perform the best for any particular
promotios or offer. We have recently revised all of our offers afer learning that some of the offers
weren’t favorable in driving depositors, we do bleieve that after we lanch the
new offers our convertion ratio will increase signifcantly. I actually can’t wait
to see how our High Roller offers drive convertions. This combined with our
new Loyalty Lounge package are sure to improve the numbers. We have never encouraged affiliates to deep link into our pages as th pages
are always subject to sigincant changes and updates and even removed after
certain promotional periods have expired.September 18, 2008 at 9:26 pm #779149LucretiaMemberI will give the program another try now the stats problems are over.
If I encounter problems again I will not post them here anymore, let somebody else be the dummy instead LOL
SP : Thanks for the update!
I will replace the bonus offers for better conversions.
I hope the issue is now solved.

September 18, 2008 at 10:59 pm #779156AnonymousGuestso you’re saying the old links currently track but you’ll stop tracking them in the coming future?
I don’t care about new stats etc etc as much as I do about chasing down your old links and replacing them.
It is to everyone’s advantage you continue to track the old links.
None of them were the same (banner codes) so its not like just hitting find and replace. There will be a ton of dead links and banners that aren’t showing.
the combination of being an unecessary replacement of link codes and not having a big bottom line usually does not end well for the codes that have to be replaced.
There is every right to question a coincidence of seeing such an extreme fall-off of income and the timing of the change over being hand-in-hand and frankly I cannot think of one intelligent person that would not see that as a likely place to start as to why their income fell off so sharply. You have offered other scenarios but none are any more (or admittedly less) likely than there being a problem that happened during the change over and I don’t think Rick was being a usual complainer to bring this to your attention.

Steve ,
We have started hosting all our images and have a master list of tags on hand for all the casinos we use so that in future when this happens we can use a mass edit tool or dreamweaver to change all these tags at once.It wont ease the pain of all the work we have ahead of us but will help the future changes i am sure we have to make.If you need some help with this sent me a pm and we can chat.
As for Star Partners we took them down for the most part and not going to put them back up.Will see what everyone is saying in 3-6 months on these guys and decide .Judy
