January 24, 2007 at 6:07 pm #724217stevejMemberGuys this is very disturbing to me. I have casino companies telling me they are hooking up Click2Pay as we speak… but that means we are off a whole stroke here.
What’s after Click2Pay — they’re finished for Americans? we need something to get paid out here. If we dont get it ….. we rely on CHECKS? OMG
I don’t know about you guys, but electronic funds is very important to me. I dont want to (a) WAIT for the check (b) WAIT for the bank to clear the check
I have ongoing expenses — what are YOU doing to get paid this month???
Very worried about this :hitthefan

Regarding Click2Pay, they are not accepting NEW US clients, but for the time being they are servicing those with an existing account. Its very difficult at the moment to decide on what to tell NEW US players that want to sign up other then to try out all of their credit and debit cards and that its possible they will be able to play with one of those.

They are misinformed and misguiding players and affiliates; they need to verify which process will be accepted in USA before recomending what people should do.
Some programs have said click2pay or check, those are our only options as a usa affiliate. I sure dont want a 35000 check from the isle of man, talk about sitting off alarms. This is so nerve racking I might need to make mine a triple. :shots:

I know banks report $10K deposits to the IRS. However, I heard when they implemented Homeland Security it changed to $5k.
I wouldn’t want the check or e-deposit to have the word “casino” in it.
I’m expecting a check shortly so we’ll see how the bank reacts.January 27, 2007 at 6:15 pm #724604AnonymousInactiveProfessor wrote:Regarding Click2Pay, they are not accepting NEW US clients, but for the time being they are servicing those with an existing account.Maybe some good news here. I signed up with Click2Pay on Monday and finally received a phone call yesterday, which I missed. They emailed me and gave me a 800 # to confirm. After a short wait I got a rep and she asked me all the confirmation questions. I was told that I would be confirmed as soon I fax them confirmation of my street address (I gave them a POBox on signup). So it looks like they are still taking new US affiliates.
January 27, 2007 at 6:36 pm #724607stevejMemberI’ll try out of desperation for certain programs that are being real assholes about being paid, and I hope you are right. But I can’t wait for a new REAL processor that is not going to be one way one day and one way the next. I’m sure they’d snatch our money faster than the NETeller folks did.
But for those who send checks, I’m just going to get used to that route so I can continue building websites and get out of this crap conversation that won’t let us focus because we just were involved in a highway robbery scene we never expected.
January 27, 2007 at 8:45 pm #724617AnonymousGuestvery alarming to those of us using paid ad space is the fact that without incoming money we cannot justify outgoing funds.
you mention this situation to nearly any lawyer (that I’ve talked with) and they DO literally salivate at the fact its a free speech issue as long as you’re not actually providing gambling from your site.
affs getting paid under any circumstance whether it be cpa or otherwise are still merely websites using the free speech amendment to offer ADVICE on where to play .. nothing more.
how the casinos choose to pay us is really not an issue because we don’t do anything more than offer advice and as such … no matter how the pay schedule is determined has little effect on the end result that we are not providing gambling from our sites.
