A new plan to legalize Internet trading on movie futures has passed the first round of regulatory approval. Call it online betting, or call it online stock trading, but really, if this becomes legal, how can the U.S. Congress continue to justify outlawing online sports betting in the U.S.? Hypocrisy, of course. The key element here is that Cantor Fitzgerald (U.S. firm) will be reaping the benefits, and the US govt will get tax revenue from this. It is unclear in these clowns’ eyes of how to limit online gambling to US entities.
