Record Number of Delegates at BAC
Significant event growth shows affiliate market as major acquisition tool for operators
15 OCTOBER 2012, LONDON – The Barcelona Affiliate Conference (BAC), now in its sixth year, returned to the Catalan city on the 11th-14th October 2012. iGaming Business, organizers of BAC, announced that registration for the event, was at a record high, in particular from affiliates in the sector.
“This was the biggest event that we have held in Barcelona since we launched it six years ago. More affiliates and operators registered than ever before, and it’s not only registrations, we also had to expand the floor plan to fit in the huge demand we had for exhibition stands,” said Alex Pratt, Head of iGaming Business. “It’s great to see the event growing significantly this year as it illustrates that the affiliate market is still a major acquisition tool for operators and with so many new affiliates attending this year, it is definitely a sector that is still in growth.”
Uniquely this year, BAC incorporated iGB Espana onto the expo floor, giving delegates the option to go to both events. Traditionally these events have been held independently of each other and had a different focus.
“These two events complemented each other, giving delegates aspects they would have otherwise been unable to get. Those attending BAC, could find local affiliates, affiliate programs and business and those attending iGB Espana, gained access to an international network at a local event. It was a perfect match and ensured that both events remain loyal to their mantra whilst getting the most out of one trip” said Pratt.
BAC and iGB Espana offered the best space to meet local and international affiliate programs and affiliates, with delegates coming from over 65 different countries.
iGB Affiliate Events are the most established and respected events in the market, and this is something that has been confirmed by the success of BAC and iGB Espana this year. The events attract more affiliates and operators than any other iGaming affiliate event and are focused on helping delegates to build relationships with a loyal and growing community of people within the iGaming industry.
The next affiliate event from iGaming Business will be the London Affiliate Conference, which is going to be held on the 7th-10th February 2013. More information on this event can be found on http://www.LondonAffiliateConference.com. Affiliates attend all iGB Affiliate Events free of charge.
