That was my answer, getting traffic is a long process but part of that process is adding content to your site

If you want your site to be noticed by search engines start adding unique content to your site. By unique I mean content that is your own and not spun.

Don’t worry… in today’s world it does not take a lot to get noticed by search engines. Build great content and links will happen organically. But to answer your question…
At first there really is no way you are going to compete for the bigger keywords unless something magical happens, and it does from time to time, but you need not worry about that.
You need to do as the great Casyem and Cassaon have said, to add quality, unique content that engages readers.
But I believe you are wondering how this will help since you can not rank high enough to get traffic. You must build pages to rank for very long tail terms. Those go in and out like an ocean tide, and are the backbone of everything.

Be so good that others want to share your work.
Also linking out to high authority sites in the online gambling topic can help a new site gain what I call… backward P-R.
I have done this on an offsite blog that used to work, but I do not think it does anymore, so I suggest doing everything on one site at first.
I suggest being liberal with sharing other peoples content and ideas, getting social with them, to gain trust and content for your site. Then, in a short time, you will have enough strength in your network to make trades with other webmasters where you can post articles for each other.
