Four U.S. lawmakers — two Democrats, two Republicans — have introduced a new bill to the U.S. Congress to regulate online gambling and defang the UIGEA.
The bill is reportedly extremely similar to last year’s bill, also co-sponsored by Barney Frank — and which crashed and burned in 2010 and 2009. But this one could get some critical help from some big-name casino interests. Keep reading.
The saga continues…..the fact that 2 Reps are also endorsing the bill, but Barney Frank’s name will not help its passage…..he has lost a lot of steam and clout in political circles.
