I am saddened by this, I am sure the affiliate managers did all they could to prevent this from happening.
June 25, 2008 at 9:47 pm #771125LucretiaMemberI think they can do very well without us affiliates then.
I do not like their attitude towards hard working campers who have to keep promises too. So if they want a devorce they can have it.
Pulling.

June 26, 2008 at 3:22 am #771139AnonymousInactiveSorry Lou, I hadn’t seen your note until today, but it’s quite obvious it would not have made a single bit of difference.
This is really sad since the Casino Blaster group was certainly looked upon as one of the top affiliate programs and mose assuredly the top Playtech group by most affiliates in the industry….
Sadly they will likely NOT hold on to that title now though.

Universal4June 27, 2008 at 12:17 pm #771311vladcizsolMemberCasino Blasters wrote me yesterday evening and asked that I post this for them as an explanation of their position:
Quote:As you and I have discussed CasinoBlasters has a long and well-proven history of fairness and equitability when it comes to how we treat our affiliates. Note that I am referring to ALL affiliates here and not simply the ones who drive significant amounts of traffic. We value each and every affiliate regardless if they send 1 player or 1000.That being said, I’d like to reiterate that there isn’t a single casino affiliate program that can say all of the following:
- -that they have never had a NEGATIVE carryover policy
- -that they have never had a rev share with a tiered system…ever
- -that they have never cheated anyone out of receiving their rightful
earnings (like everyone else working within the current constraints we may have been guilty of a late payment or two, but at the end of the day everyone gets paid)Not only can CasinoBlasters say all of the above, but further to that we can add the following:
- -we have never closed anyone’s account that was owed money or that wanted to work with us
- -we have never called affiliates to give them ultimatums (send more traffic or else)
- -we have always worked with affiliates at whatever level they felt comfortable with
- -we were the only program that did not abandon their affiliates when the US passed the unlawful gaming act
- -through BCP we were the only program that allowed all of our affiliates the opportunity to continue to earn rev from their US traffic
And..
- -we have given unconditional support to CAP,GPWA,CAC, etc. and have exhibited in one way or another at virtually every affiliate conference since 2003
In this context it seems unjust that simply by reserving the right to review dormant accounts after 90 days CasinoBlasters would be considered “predatory.” This is not to say that we don’t understand your concerns; we do. Clearly this is a decision that was not easily made but we have stated clearly that accounts will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
We have stuck steadfastly by our affiliates through good times and bad and have every intention of continuing to do so. The best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour and if we are to be judged then all we can ask is that it be done within the context outlined above.
June 29, 2008 at 12:38 am #771436AnonymousInactiveLet me be the first to say, that if we do judege Casino Blaster solely on past behaviour, then they would be totally correct (IMO)
If we could then totally go on the past then I would say ok….but….
There is now a terms of service there in place that many many of us are NOT happy with and many f us totally disagree with…
The terms is the binding contract that we are to base our marketing decisions on, and I’m just not sure how I feel about that yet, as I’m sure many others are not trying to determine that as well.

July 21, 2008 at 7:12 pm #773359UkbfvujiMemberAbout Casino Blasters I can tel this : traffic stats are OK and payments are on time.Only things I can suggest are :
1) As affiliate I need banners with copy/paste code withot pictures download
2) Better mail communication and more mail promotions.
3) New casinos in this affiliate programMaby I as affiliate , ask a lot and I know that I am not high traffic affiliate but I hope that other affiliates think simmilary.
August 1, 2008 at 9:28 pm #774322doortNoniteraMembertx for this post, I just wanted to open an account with them, now I changed my mind.
I suggest you writte this down next to CAP Certified Program Details, I think this is very important information for new affiliates who are just starting with their sites
September 9, 2008 at 7:48 pm #778213AnonymousInactiveToday, I’ve received an email from BCP:
At this time the payment for your Affiliate account “XXXX” has been placed on hold. According to our records the account is showing a low volume of traffic, and as per our Terms and Conditions we ask that you contact your Affiliate Manager to further
discuss the status of your account. If you are not sure who your Affiliate Manager is, please contact our support Team via email at bcpresponse.com
Although in August when I asked my affiliate manager Tim about their T&Cs changes he told me the following:
Hi Aksana,
First I want to assure you that this is simply a case by case T and C.
We have no intention of targeting affiliates that do not meet this
particular T and C.
To date we’ve not applied it to anyone. And believe me there are those we
most certainly could have.
I know its easy for me to say to you – “don’t worry it wont affect you” ,
however I feel quite confident
our past track record speaks very well for itself.Today I’ve already disabled all brands of Casino Blasters, and if BCP don’t pay me my commissions I’ll disable all their casinos and ask all my friends to stop promoting them.
Also I don’t like their unknown fees: they take $50 from each wire transfer and don’t pay bank fees, so if my commissions are $500, I’ll receive only ~$400, I think, it’s not fair.
September 9, 2008 at 9:30 pm #778216AnonymousInactiveI received the same email as Aksana today saying that my account was put on hold. The ironic thing is I earned my biggest commision ever from them in August. The first thing that annoys me is how am I supposed to email to find out my affiliate manager. That is not an email address you have given us and going to that website shows that the site bcpresponse.com doesnt exist.
I would like to know how to proceed to discuss my case, but I will very pissed off if I do not receive a payment for the player that had been sent to them.September 9, 2008 at 9:32 pm #778217AnonymousInactiveSame email here from BCP.
September 9, 2008 at 9:57 pm #778220AnonymousInactiveSame e-mail, and over $5000 commission this month, I am fucking pissed!
September 9, 2008 at 11:12 pm #778227AnonymousInactiveAs the players rate the casinos we are promoting, may be it is time to rate the programs:
cross marketing, inactive account etc.?September 9, 2008 at 11:47 pm #778229AnonymousInactivei got the same email. over $5k on hold.
this is very strange for them to pull this stunt to a lot of affiliates at once. prepare for a backlash.
September 10, 2008 at 11:03 am #778262AnonymousInactiveNo big surprise here, they have a shit-term and use it.. Plus they must be worried that they aren’t getting as much traffic since now I am beginning to see spam pop up for their new casino.
Great! Piss off your affiliate base, and now take any affiliate who will promote you because of it (spammers). Quality. Good for the industry, too.

There’s your awesome affiliate BCP!

What are we going to do about them now?
BCP and CB are a clear warning sign for us as how a fair programme might turn rogue overnight.
We should carefully watch out for all of them. All of them smell fishy sometimes.
There is clearly a downhill trend in this industry as fas as integrity is concerned. Now it’s at par with the porn industry. -
