I hope everyone has learned a lesson or two from this thread. Sure, everyone looks to the leader for ideas on how to do a site well. But to define yourself as a real site, you have to do something different. Cloning the exact look and feel of a site down to the style of icons (even without taking actual content) is not ethical or even a good long term strategy.
But as they exist today, both sites, although similar in general style and theme are different from one another.
Open casino bonus has a place for top casinos – who doesn’t. But the home page description tag text is too close to the latest casino bonus site to be coincidental. Sure the numbers are different, but not a lot of sites have that type of description.
The depth of the new site is understandably not as deep. But as a start, it is good.

In all frankness, I didn’t pull the source code.
I only compared lay-outs and the site mascots.However, anyone who uses another sites meta description and re-spins a few words or numbers to make it look different, is IMHO trying to ride on the shirt tails of someones success. And that’s a BIG no no.
I wont add to what rmeeuwsen has said above, cause it’s smack on target!
