I have had the pleasure to speak with Warren regarding all the recent fraud/scam threads in this section recently. This has never been excepted at CAP furthermore now CAP will have the time to enforce it… If your caught trying to sell fake pr links or even attempt to scam a visitor at CAP your thread will be deleted and Your account will receive an infraction.
I have been put in charge of this, don’t think I will not be checking this section daily.
Examples You cannot do:
1. Sell fake Pr, I think this is self explanatory.
2. Selling links for a product that it not gambling related. For Example: If You own a website about school clothes and the website currently has a Pr value You cannot change the theme from school clothes to Gambling and try to sell links here. The pr value for gambling on that particular website is worthless until Google can reevaluate the content and what Google thinks is right for your Pr in the Gambling Community.
3. CasinoAffiliatePrograms has been kind and allowed there guest and members to post signature links. Do not take this away from us all! Do not spam a thread with keyword links. For Example: Casino — Linked to your website
4. Buying dropped domain names that still have a pr value and selling links could be considered unethical. However if You mention in your thread they are dropped domains they are OK to sell.
If any member is contacted or thinks someone is trying to sell You a bad/fake pr website. Please send me a private message and I will investigate in a timely fashion.
Think twice before You post in the buy/sell section.

This rule is a great step ´cause buying and selling ads space is not a easy task. It is clear that unethical practices are bad for the market and for the professional affiliate as well.

February 27, 2012 at 1:38 am #821915AnonymousInactiveGreat to see organization and monitoring.
Gambling related – sure – within reason
WTS Links
=======
Site selling only gambling themes – sure
Site selling 100 themes, one of which is gambling – probably notWTB Links
=======
More LenientBut don’t want CAP to a junkyard.
As long as the description deal mostly with gaming,February 27, 2012 at 11:08 am #821922alhenrryMemberThis post has been deleted by its author.
November 1, 2012 at 1:38 pm #829499It would be nice if there was some kind of sticky post giving a bit of advice to buyers of forum posts, as to how to evaluate a sellers offering. I’ve never bought before and it would be nice to have a quick checklist of things to look out for and maybe even suggested typical fees for certain Page Ranks, etc.
August 11, 2018 at 12:18 am #838726sukjo1MemberThat sounds like an excellent idea to be. The list would include: content, theme, amount on existing inbound and outbound links, web traffic, rankings, credibility of website, advertising positions available and so on.

November 29, 2018 at 2:15 pm #838754sukjo1MemberIt’s great that the CAP forum is fine to discuss the buying and selling of advertising, and the like.
We are primarily a media, publicity, advertising services and project management company.
Yes, we do sell advertising and have 3 main websites available at present. Rates start at just $80USD, however some negotiation is possible after we scope out projects.
I’m always happy to try to help out new folks here, as well as veterans. Cheers.
