Finland started to even stronger its gambling monopoly with new gambling laws. Foreign operators prohibited to advertise. Also they started to shoot down gambling ads from .fi-domains immediately after new law came live 1st of October.
They will publish own online casino and online poker soon and Finland can still advertise very agressive their own gambling monopoly products. Same time they are saying that these new regulations will bring down amount of problem gamblers. Its proved that over 60% of problem gamblers in Finland are hooked monopolys slotsmachines in supermarket´s etc..
I and many others know that Finland is violating EU laws big time. Question is – who will do something about this situation..? Please help!
Yes, this seems to be a violation of EU laws for sure. Unless EU gets bold and issues sanctions, this will continue to happen again and again in this industry.
