It seems as if progress at Craigs new org has started to slow down…

I personally felt it was swaying too far from being webmaster oriented and more towards a Player/Portal/Casino conglomeration. I would have prefered a more focused webmaster group.

What do you guys think? Is this thing going to fly or will it get weighed down trying to be too many things to too many people?

Craig Miller, the original founder of GPWA, announced he was organizing a new casino webmaster association here:
    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=983

He then set up a forum to discuss this new group here:

The first few days there was a flurry of activity and excitement then it seemed to cool off. Thats what I am talking about Janet. Perhaps you missed all this?

I think one is supposed to go through craig’s link.

It has lost momentum because nobody wants to moderate – it is set up without moderation. These sort of things don’t ever work if there is nobody who says “ok, now lets vote” or whatever.

It was the same when Cindy disappeared after Dean was tossed out. The place just flaundered. Same thing now.

I want no part of being any driving force in this, just a plain old member, so I am not about to help the situation.

I do hope someone will step up to the plate though – be a shame if it were not to come to be.

    I’m taking the wait-and-see stance.

Keep in mind that many of the participants in there are quite busy. I did my best to try and keep the focus narrow – now it’s really a matter of what transpires – one has to have patience.

Either way, nothing ventured, nothing gained. But nothing to lose either.

They must be busy, I signed up two days ago and my account is still not active.

I feel so left out. :(

    That’s what I mean.

Is anyone in contact with Craig?

Also, I think 666 maybe the sucks owner or racetrack.

Well this isnt actually the “group” Im sure once its started that a security team will review unknown users … (least Id hope that would be the protocol)

I have not seen Craig on messenger for almost a week. We’ve been busy with our pc problems and haven’t been on as much but I’m assuming Craig is busy with something personal, hoping there’s nothing wrong.
It’s not like him…I’m sure we’ll hear from him soon.
I too was/am waiting to see where it’s all going.

Wasn’t Craig’s wife expecting a baby? Or was that someone else?

In any case, it’s a point in case that there should always be more than one person things depend on.

Yes, they are expecting a baby soon. I think in the next month or two but don’t remember exactly.
That’s why I said hope everything is okay!

Ummmm did the new organization just suddenly die or what?

I am begining to believe the rumor I heard from an Aff Manager that the new org was just a diversion to get the heat off Cindy. This Aff manager talks to many of the principles and swore that Craig and Cindy were still working together and they had hoped to eventually bring the two groups together.

I dismissed it at the time I heard it as probable bullshit, but the more I think about it the more it makes sense. Also as soon as the ruckus died down and GPWA was no longer under constant fire then the new org was basically left to die out having served its purpose.

Does anyone have any information that would run counter to this?
