It seems to finally be happening: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, the most powerful man in the U.S. Senate (for now) and a politician heavily influenced by the casino industry, is making a move to get online poker regulated and legalized before the end of the year.
This could be a big deal: Reid has a lot more authority and power than Barney Frank (at least until 2011), and there’s a chance he could make this happen. What then? Read the details here.
