I received an email the other day from Neteller confurming that on 21 February my check was processed and it is now showing up on the account as “accepted”. This is 2 weeks after 7 February application for a check to be sent to australia.
this really is not too bad, consideringt he expected 6-8 week wait.
normally the non-Fed Ex check is here within a week in sydney.

February 28, 2007 at 2:16 am #728911AnonymousInactiveAn update from me, for those interested…
After requesting a wire for my full account amount on Jan 16 and receiveing a “sent” confirmation from Neteller the next day, it took over 3 weeks before I was able to get a response from anyone at Neteller about the wire transfer. Their response was that the wire had been returned and perhaps they could try converting to Euros and sending again.
I agreed and waited almost 2 more weeks. Then at the end of last week, I got a phone call from the wire department saying the wire was returned again. I agreed for them to try it again, confirmed my details with them again and waited again.
I am happy to report that the money arrived in my account today – 6 weeks after the initial request.
So anyone in Australia wanting to get a wire from Neteller… it looks like they have ironed out the wire transfer bugs and you could get your money within a week.
Good luck!
February 28, 2007 at 5:40 am #728929AnonymousInactivemy neteller check arrived yesterday 27 February, just 20 days since requested.
neteller sent via fedex although I just selected normal delivery – that is nice service considering the pressures that they have been under.

March 1, 2007 at 7:51 pm #729183AnonymousInactiveJust a quick note for European users with Euro accounts.
The last time I withdraw money by wire, it took 2-3 business days. It means that Neteller is back to normal operations.
March 6, 2007 at 9:43 am #729717AnonymousInactiveI requested a withdrawal yesterday from my US$ Neteller account to European bank account. I received this from Neteller:
At this time, NETELLER is not sending out any payments in USD. We are only sending payments in EUR and GBP.
Please reply to this email with the currency you prefer for your bank transfer.
We thank you for your patience and understanding
I replied:
My bank account is in CZK. You can send it in EUR and my bank will convert it to my currency. Please confirm what will you send.
Their fast reply:
Thank you for your email. Your requested withdrawals amount of $2,186.00 will be converted into €1,664.19. Please note the funds will be converted back to your bank account currency when they are received by your bank. Please enquire with your bank about any additional fees.
Your transaction will take up to 24 business hours to show on your NETELLER Account. Withdrawals to your bank account take three to five business days to clear.
Thank you for choosing NETELLER.
Seems Neteller is working fine for non-US members:Nod:
