I just used my Card to withdraw no problem, I’m sure your wire will be no problem also.

EURO clients don’t have any problems because funds are held in Europe, and transfers are made without any US bank interference.

What can occur is a delay in wires. The reason is all the mess created with people trying to make wires at the same time. that’s a delay only.

The same does not apply for USD accounts or US citizens.

I haven’t try the wire transfer withdrawal yet but I asked Neteller about my USD Neteller account.

    Reply from Neteller staff:

At this time, we are unable to transact with USD bank accounts. Your NETELLER account can be registered in USD, however, the bank account that is registered to your account must be registered in a different currency other than USD. The bank account that is registered to your NETELLER account is in CZK, so your withdrawals should not be affected.

So it looks that it depends on your bank account currency. If you have other than USD bank account you should receive the wire. It’s strange but it I hope it will really work.

Today I spoke to them again and was told it is not the currency of your account, but the currency of your wire request that affects the transfers.

But who knows, they have contradicted themselves. I was told today that thye have “escalated” my request that means someone in their “processing team” will phone me tomorrow. We shall see…

As a conclusion: Any request that at some point requires the use of USD will result in problems for Neteller to proccess, at this point.

Anyone had any luck getting a wire from Neteller since the founders were arrested?

It’s been over 3 weeks now and they keep giving me excuses (when I can actually get a hold of someone there).

Any non-US guys had any luck?

I have information that people that requested wire transfers during January, in Euro to European bank accounts, start to being paid at the beginning of this month.

For now I have reasons to believe that wire transfers in Europe are delayed because of the US problem, not more not less.

European clients are clients of Neteller UK Ltd, subject to FSA rules, whom at the moment have an eye on what is going on.

Regarding US transfers, the more plausible explanation is that there is a huge amount requested in wire transfers. Neteller does not want to put the money in US soil without having guarantees that it will reach the owner. you may say that this is an excuse since others are paying to US using wire. But keep in mind that all eyes are concentrated on Neteller actions so they are more exposed than others when wiring to US. Although the DOJ is the one that is screwing Americans, everybody is saying that it is Neteller that is screwing. As stated on gambling911, do you see DOJ concerned with Firepay?

This a massive protectionism trying to destroy all gambling industry that comes from outside USA. Then, US companies can enter the market and dominate it. That’s the point in which you’ll see some regulation in US.

    Nope

From now I phone them every day. This morning I was on the phone for over an hour, demanding to speak to someone in their wire processing delartment. After explaining my problem to her, I got cut off. I phoned back and asked for her, got put through, and hung on until I had to leave.

I have sent memberwire 8 emails in the last week and not even a courtesy reply….

Tomorrow I will prepare myself to stay on the phone until I get an explanation from them.

I telephoned someone from the wire processing department Saturday 3rd February and he told me that the wire transfer system was down for 1.5 – 2 weeks, but now it is back online, and my wire was sent. I’m waiting until Friday and then I will telephone and email them again. It is friggin ridiculous. Maybe we should all link to neteller with the word scam.. hmmm… anyway, if anyone wants to call the wire processing department, the phone number is Toll Free: 1800-776-763-43 or you can call 011-1-403-233-9466

If anyone receives a wire, especially to Australia, please let the rest of us know.
