He-he, you wish. I’m moving all Bet 365 to another bookie.
July 2, 2008 at 8:30 am #771756DanmanMemberGuys,
Many thanks for your suggestions and they have duly been taken on board by the team here. Whilst I can make no promises to have negative carryover removed from our terms and conditions, we are here to ensure that our affiliates perform and continue to prosper therefrom.
On the most part, the team over here is a new one, brought in to grow the affiliate programme to its full potential. Clearly there were boundaries set by the business long before many of us arrived, negative carryover being one of them. At a fundamental business level, it is completely rational for negative amounts to be carried over – losses shared as well as profits.
That said, we are fully aware from past roles and experience, that this can put off some affiliates – given that many other operators take a different approach. In VC’s case – and I know as I was there – the lack of a single wallet solution meant that zeroing negatives was seen as essential to ensure affiliate business prospered.
Our hope at bet365 is, as The Gooner alludes to, the strength of sportsbook platform and the complete brand umbrella encompassing the top non-Asian Playtech casino and a brand new Bingo offering, all under a single wallet continue to counter this. I think, on the whole, affiliates are happy with the affiliate offering – as agreeing to our terms and conditions indicates, along with the messages of support in this thread. That said, the online gaming affiliate industry is growing so fast it’s all about making affiliates and operators alike even happier!
So your suggestions have been noted and will add to our strategic thinking going forward.
August 2, 2008 at 7:30 pm #774390AnonymousInactivehang on I thought the original poster said that VC does have a single wallet solution and does not carry over negatives?
Also one thing that should be made perfectly clear on your site is that (according to the Gooner) you bundle. I.e. earnings in the different brands affect each other. Now that is one more very unattractive proposition for affiliates.

Hi Goldfinger,
I was referring to how things were at VC during my time there. I am aware of a fix that was put in place to reward affiliates across products, but not of a single wallet solution.
In terms of bundling, I can understand the issue that a straight-up poker affiliate, for example, would have with it and we are working on a potential solution to make everyone happy. That being said, our single wallet account and retention platforms work better than most others at prolonging a customer’s lifespan, whether it be on the product they initially deposited to and played on, or converting them to other products before they lapse and go elsewhere.
Will you be in Barcelona – we’d be keen to set up a meeting to discuss your own circumstances and see if we can work on something that will see you promote bet365 and our products?
Thanks,
Tom

Also i think rule of minimum 5 affiliates is backfire-i reffered one customer, and i was in nice plus.Beacuse of that rule i was need to promote more and i got new customer and look what happened-he earned 3000 pounds and question is will balance ever recover. So i wasted resources for promoting. -
