Hi, sorry once again the administrator has informed me that i have probably posted in the wrong section… Sorry still new to the whole forum thing. As requested in my previous posts, i was wondering for a little assistance in really jump starting my affiliate program. I teamed up with a guy who is supposively the 2nd biggest affiliate for empire poker. So i was wondering if any of you experts out there would be kind enough to check out my site, and maybe provide me a few tips on really gaining some high quality traffic and new customers. so all of your help would be much appretiated!!!! Thank you so much in advance…
my site is at http://www.takeyourrakeback.comJune 30, 2005 at 4:59 pm #667892AnonymousInactiveI’d say you need a few things on your website.
1. Navigation system. This would make your website more useable and would allow you to restructure your info so people can find exactly what they are looking for.
2. Designwise centred text is more difficult to read than left aligned.
I’d say those are the 2 starting points…the rest is up to you…
Hope it helps somewhat.

:woo-hoo:Seriously though, I’d re-consider the “rake back” ethos. It’ll be a nightmare to manage and from what I’ve read (I’m not a Poker bod myself) it’s not very popular with other affiliates. You’ll be better off doing straight referrals and it will be alot easier i think you’ll find. A complaint or two from punters (or arguments etc) and you could find aff programs cutting you off at source. Just a friendly warning

I’m not sure why people knock rake back so much, its not nearly as bad as most other things are out there. But much thanks to those who helped me out. If anybody has anything else to add that would be great.
