Hi all. I’m looking for a talented, engaged and committed gambling writer. We cover all aspects of the igaming industry (including poker, casinos, sports betting, bingo and financials) and need someone to help populate our site with news updates, features, promotional content and reviews- rates are negotiable but will be competitive.
In order to fill this position, a news writer will be expected to source and write their own stories, in addition to to uploading this content into our CMS.
Essential skills include:
An excellent standard of written English and aptitude for both traditional journalistic style and writing for the web.
A passion for and knowledge of the gambling industry.
A portfoilio of published work (professional, personal or both).Useful attributes include:
Experience of writing for web in a professional capacity.
Experience of working within the igaming industry (not necessarily as a content creator, but ideally so).
Good knowledge of the UK gambling market.
Familiarity with using a CMS and basic knowledge of html.
Knowledge of optimising web content for search.The ideal candidate will have the ability to produce regular news content to a good standard and will be expected to exercise a great deal of initiative and independence with regards to managing our news section.
