I was bored last night, so I thought I may as well register at Bingohall.com and see what the Bingo scene is like. I registered and waited for my confirmation email to arrive. After half an hour with no response, I decided to first check if my Spam filters hadn’t rerouted the mail to my junk folder. I couldn’t find it there so i logged in to my ISP’s management console where i can check if they have filtered any mails on my behalf. No luck, no emails coming to my mail box had been filtered.

I then deduced that it must be a Bingohall problem, so i emailed support asking them to please activate my account. Twelve hours later and still no response.

The way I see it there is one of three explanations:
    1) Bingohalls mail server is on the blink.
    2) The emails from Bingohall are either being filtered without my knowledge or simply disappearing into the ether.
    3) Bingohall simply doesn’t wasn’t me as a client.

Whichever one it is, it would be nice to resolve this issue, since if its happening to me, it may very well be happening to anyone I refer from my site.

I had a chat with my ISP today. Apparently they filter emails on my behalf based on whatever criteria they deem fit, and the only way to override this is for me to add email addresses to my allow list.

This really gets to me as i feel that no one but me has the right to decide what email i receive. I think in future i must use my gmail address instead of my ISP one.

So to Bingohall i appologise for implying it was your fault. I guess as affiliates we owe it to our visitors to educate them in scenarios such as the one i have just exerienced.

    Hi Andre,

Thanks for looking into your ISP.

We always endeavor to keep on top of email correspondence but there are so many factors and places that effect gaming industry emails that inevitably some don’t make it through.

We are very vigilant in our efforts to keep the post getting through :)

    Thanks,

    Roo
