According to Polish newspaper The Warsaw Voice, online gambling is on its way towards being made legal, now that the European Court of Justice has handed down a favorable ruling. The ruling looks kindly on British bookmakers, who had been banded from Italian operations. As a result, according to the paper, the legislators in Poland are planning to introduce online gambling and poker regulations similar to the Italian regulations. The Warsaw Voice reports that the Ministry of Finance is working on an amendment to the gambling law, as a dozen or more bookmakers are operating with no regulations whatsoever.
