Kalpakian not disclosing identity of new Mahjong licensee

August 20, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — Canadian online gambling software developer LasVegasFromHome.com Entertainment Inc. appears to be following the Net Entertainment path of announcing new licensees without immediately disclosing who they are. This week CEO Jake Kalpakian followed this route when he revealed that his company has signed a new licensee for its Asian Multi-Player Software featuring its latest game, Mahjong 1-On-1.

The licensee is apparently still under development and will join the LVFH Asian Games Network at AsianGamesNetwork.com soon. The network serves as an aggregate host site for online poker, sportsbook and casino operators offering the LVFH Asian multi-player games.

The unnamed licensee will also have access to a number of other popular games including Fight The Landlord, Big 2, Chinese Poker and Si Ki Pi.

I don’t know how LVFH competes with EntertAsia and Playtech.
The games of LVFH on many chinese websites are only for fun.
I think the important players in Asia are only EA and PT.
