    Good day everyone,

With regards to your feedback, this is reason why we have signed up a forum here – to act as a communication channel and to address issues you might have.

I assure you that Alida and I will endeavor to resolve any issues and assist where we can, in saying that:

    Fergie:
With regards to your Miami Paradise cashin. You cashed in on the 10 June, the payment was processed on the 18 June. I have mailed you with details of the payment and a confirmation number. If you could please confirm here whether you received the payment.

    Chips For Free (Matt):
Unfortunately No Deposit Bonuses are always a rather sticky subject. With offering these bonuses the casino opens itself for abuse, and therefore have to have strict Terms and Conditions in place. Miami Paradise is the second casino we’ve rolled the No Deposit Bonus out to after the start of the $15 at RiverNile in April. A good percentage of players have been awarded the No Deposit Bonus, and thereby we hope to establish a long term relationship with the player, so that both the casino and the affiliate will benefit from it. You do however make some good points in your post here, and I have forwarded it to the casino manager to consider – thank you.

With regards to the ‘horror stories’ that Aleph refers to, I’d like to know more in order to see what we can do about it. As I said, this forum is intended to bring issues to our attention, and then for us to resolve. The affiliate model make out a big part of our business, and therefore it is essential that affiliates are happy with both the program and the casino clients.

I hope that you see this for what it is, my commitment to the program – and therefore you, the affiliates.

    Kind regards,
    Marlo

Fergie, I will be VERY interested in how you fare with eCOGRA.

I hope you will keep us posted – maybe start a thread when you first hear back from them.

    Marlo-

I’m confused about what criteria your site would use to deny someone their no deposit bonus? I have a couple of no deposit casino bonus pages I might be willing to promote your company on, but I’m puzzled why it’s a sticky subject. Seems to me like you either offer a no deposit bonus or you don’t.

Also–and forgive me if this is a foolish question, but I’ve never actually won any money and cashed out anywhere but PartyPoker, and that never took more than 24 hours to process. But why would it take 8 days to process a cashout? Is that typical of online casinos?

I have been running the no deposit bonuses on my sites with goldenstar and they have been working great. As always in no deposit offers you do get tons of abuse and I am glad goldenstar and other programs do watch for these players.

RTG is the worst casinos to get abused, since I have had same player sign up over 25 times to get bonus. Microgaming is a bit harder since they actually have to remove files out of the registry. But players do this as well.

Keep up the good work Marlo :)

For an update, Marlo has emailed me about the payment. I haven’t received it, though.

This brings up another question I have for all casinos. This payment I haven’t received was sent to the email address I use to sign up at the casino and not to the Neteller account I used for the deposits. I have heard players complain about this, is this standard procedure?

Either way, I didn’t get anything at that email address about a payment, but I’ll update here when I do.

    Marlo,

You can blame bonus abuse all you want. I myself am a player who deposits well enough to consider me a good player at many casinos and I have never been approved by your “casinos discretion” for any of your no deposit deals….not that I even want them or would care but I care enough about my members and I care enough about the integrity of promotional abuse from the casino. It seems that River Nile, Golden Riviera, and Miami Paradise are the ones abusing …not us players. I still don’t think this method is acceptable.

Krystal…I agree with you completely and I could understand the situation if that were the case however like I said, I deposit lots of money and I have never created more then one account at any of Marlo’s casino’s and still not once got any of their advertised promotions. I find this tactic misleading and frustrating.

That does seem weird that you are not receiving the promotion.

I know my players have been receiving the free money. Also haven’t had a single player complaint from Goldenstar in the 3+ years I have been promoting them.

The forum is also a great place if there is a issue with any players to get the problems resolved. Some times there is very good reasons why someone does get denied. I do think that if a player is denied that they should be given the exact reason why. So they are aware of it.

I am sure Marlo would be more than happy to look into it for you tho. :)

Marlo has been in touch with me.

Just to be fair, I have heard some positive things about Goldenstar from CAP members.

I was a bonus player for a few years and have some merit on this issue.

If your would to judge a casino affiliate program by how there casinos treated “BONUS PLAYERS,” than you could only promote a hand full of casinos. Most casinos mistreat bonus players because there viewed as scammers.

Also, if you wanted to promote a casino that treated bonus players like an average square player (meaning that all player are entitled to all the same bonuses regardless of gambling patterns) than I can only think of two casinos that you would be able to promote, Casino-on-Net and InterCasino. All others have had times where they mistreated and mishandled there bonus players.

CON and Inter don’t ban, restrict or mistreat “BONUS PLAYERS,” nor do they ever have any player complaints about unethical treatment towards “BONUS PLAYERS.”

Good Points and I agree most casinos do take a dim view on bonus players or people they perceive as ‘bonus abusers”.

Bonuses are an integral part of promotion process, but they do raise a lot of problems for both the casinos and players.

Well maybe you don’t think highly of “BONUS PLAYERS” whatever you consider such makes a person that. I don’t care what kind of player you are or what your theory is, if a casino advertises a bonus then they need to follow through on their promise. So maybe I am a bonus player but once I have gotten that bonus I will deposit about 100 X more then the value of that bonus if I like the casino.

I may not be a bonus player but if I am getting a no deposit sign up chip I want to see the casinos payout before hand then I better get it. I am offended that we label some players as bonus players and some as not, the point here is that a casino doesn’t do what they say they are going to do and taht’s dishonest. Bonus player or not!

Well, I don’t think they should advertise a bonus that seems to only be available for an elite few. I’ve had very large commissions from people that were first bonus players-not at Golden Star, but several others. There are a lot of people who want to try out a casino on the casino’s money first and feel that the ‘play for free’ mode is not true to the ‘play for real’ mode. So in this instance, how can you REALLY determine who is a ‘bonus abuser?’ Is it someone who is smart with where they deposit their money or a casino hopper. Maybe Golden Star needs to take a closer look at this free bonus procedure.

Sounds really simple to me. If you don’t want people to abuse a no deposit bonus, don’t offer one.

That strategy seems to have worked well for a lot of casinos.
