Hi Marlo
Welcome to CAP.
I have a very concerning problem regarding all your casinos marketing practices and the effect it has on my members of my
site including myself which I have personally experienced. I would like to know what standard your casinos have setup that allow your managerial team to make a decision on weather or not your promoted no deposit bonuses will be awarded to your casino. 4 of your casinos have offered a no deposit new player chip over the past 8 months, each I have tried to obtain following specific instructions listed on the terms page and EVERY time I was “denied” by your manager and then reminded that you reserve the right to make a promotional decision based on nothing basically. In my opinion this is nothing but a bait and switch practice performed by your casino group and it has only left a bad taste in the mouthes of my sites members and myself. If you list no such standard on who does and does not get this randomly awarded bonus then why give it at all? Do you do this just so that you can obtain our user information, oru emails, our addresses and other information at your disposal so that you can use it later?
Dear Client,
We have assessed your application for the $16 download bonus on account tmpr00948443. Management has declined your application. Management reserves the right to award bonuses at it’s own discretion.
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards
Miami Paradise Casino
So not only have I taken the time to download, install and register, I now have to deal with every email your casinos send out until I take the time and CALL your casinos because every time this happens I only email you guys 5 times to remove my accounts from your database which never happens.
I could go on and on with this situation but the point here is that why should myself or anyone promote a casino group that does not honor what it advertises and then turns around and treats the people we do bring to the casinos like they don’t exist.

One month ago, I took this casino on a test drive. While I was ahead, I withdrew $170.00.
I still haven’t seen this money, and my emails go unanswered.

July 8, 2004 at 1:20 am #651672AnonymousInactiveAnd me too about 9 months ago but I won’t get into it.
July 8, 2004 at 1:22 am #651673AnonymousInactiveI can’t say I’m surprised with them … heard alot of horror stories
from others as well.
July 8, 2004 at 1:30 am #651675AnonymousInactiveSounds to me like this is something that should be addressed immediately and appropriately by Golden Star Network.
July 8, 2004 at 2:20 am #651681AnonymousInactiveWith me it wasnt actually the casinos it was the affiliate program. Im not going to get into it here either – most of you know my horror story!
I was very surprised to see this tonight when I signed on.

Fergie, go to eCogra – http://www.ecogra.com/dispute.asp
July 8, 2004 at 5:01 am #651691AnonymousGuestYes, I will take it to Ecogra. I see on the Miami Paradise site they carry the Ecogra symbol.
I’ve been letting it ride for a month, hoping they would get back to me with a good reason for the delay. (Truth is, I’ve been busy and put it off for too long already)
A month is too long.
I didn’t mention that they didn’t credit my account with the advertised bonus, either.
July 8, 2004 at 5:11 am #651692AnonymousInactiveIMHO Ecogra IS effective. However, I have a few concerns here of my own. First off, this is an affiliate section so I don’t think non-payment of specific personal casino accounts should be put here and listed. Second, one or two of you said you were personally OUT money due you by casino play. My concern is, why you would send your trusting visitors to a place that hadn’t paid YOU. To me that doesn’t make much sense, you could hurt your site in the long run.
Also, I am glad to see Golden Star here so we can address them with any issues that can and do arise. I think that’s what the Professor had in mind here? But it’s just speculation on my end.

Who said we continued to send them visitors AFTER we
we knew for sure we got stiffed ?

July 8, 2004 at 5:51 am #651697AnonymousGuestWufu, the reason I was playing at Miami Paradise was to test it, since I was considering adding the Goldenstar network casinos to my site.
Obviously it is only one player, and there could be a good reason for my non-payment. It’s hardly a great scientific study, but the results are more than enough to keep me from sending players there.
They failed the test. Big time. I didn’t even have to do any further research. Saved me a few steps.
And I don’t agree that it doesn’t belong in the CAP forum. I would hope that we’re all interested in how a casino is treating its players.
July 8, 2004 at 6:00 am #651698AnonymousInactiveYep, in re-reading this thread, I have to admit you are right. And testing out the casinos yourself is an awesome idea, good for reviews too. I shouldn’t be allowed to post a reply to anything till I’ve read it over atleast twice
I myself never had a problem with getting their advertised bonuses, but I know it’s a big issue.
