Guys I have heard from multiple sources and operators that Microgaming will be withdrawing from the US market within 4 weeks. This is not a decision being left up to the operators, its coming from Microgaming themselves.
I urge EVERYONE to contact Microgaming daily and ask that they NOT do this.
If we lose Microgaming in the US then at least 90% of us that make our living in this industry will be effectively out of business.

February 14, 2007 at 4:08 pm #727278AnonymousInactiveI asked a few managers today after I read this and they have all said it is a nasty rumor and a couple have talked directly to Micro to get an answer. What a mess this is!
Doing my part of calling and emailing now
February 14, 2007 at 4:12 pm #727280vladcizsolMemberI wish they were right. But I have heard from too many senior managers and principals that its more then a rumor. I am sure not all Affiliate managers have been informed yet, but the owners are aware of this.
February 14, 2007 at 4:57 pm #727283AnonymousInactiveThis really bites! I hope we can change their minds some how.
February 14, 2007 at 5:06 pm #727284vladcizsolMemberJust got off the phone with another operator and here’s why we have a few weeks left…
Microgaming is translating their casinos into 15 new languages, this includes not just the landing pages, but inside the casinos themselves. That will be completed in two weeks.
The operators are developing creatives and their own landing pages now. Once that is all complete they plan on pulling the trigger.

February 14, 2007 at 6:47 pm #727304vladcizsolMemberThey have no intention of dropping US affiliates as far as I know. They are just dropping our player market. We are all invited (as has been the case for the last year) to gear up to promote in Europe and Asia and the programs are working on support materials for those that are going to pursue those markets.
My main concern is those are MUCH smaller markets. Players are resistant and player values are typically much lower. Based on that I would say the ability to earn a living wage in those markets will be far less then its been up to know. My numbers are abysmal for the casinos that dropped my US players for example:
Casino Blasters prior to exiting US average monthly commissions $16K after the pull out I dropped to around $700 per month. (Ouch, there goes vacations and cruises)
Casino Partners prior to exiting US average monthly commissions $4K. After the pull out less then $100
Wagershare (This one broke my heart and back too) prior to exiting US average monthly commissions $14K – $19K. After the pull out I have not made over $50 per month!!!
I expect most people who had spent years building up a large base of US players under the Microgaming Brand to suffer a similar fate.
