Gotta love the AGA this week. They are bound and determined to make a change and legalize the hell out of online poker.

On Monday they released a Wild West Themed YouTube Video. Great underlying message comparing the old days of online gambling to the Wild West, but basically saying that there are far more drawbacks to making online poker illegal.

Here’s the video if you want to check it out:

So what do you think- will this video be effective in creating awareness?

While chit-chatting about AGA, I just found out about the Code of Conduct they released this week. Its purpose is to try to provide a safe environment for poker players.

So wow… with the video and this code of conduct, can this help further things along to get online poker legalized in the US?

love the part in the video where it says.. “…should be allowed to play with US law abiding operators.”

I’m probably a cynic, but.. what about the large law abiding operators outside of the US.

poker rooms for US only players? or US operated poker rooms for the entire world. Wonder what happens, when another country tries to crack down on a US licensed poker room for taking their players.

Its either late at night.. which it is.. or I’m a cynic.

If they do legalize, do you think they’ll draw a line between poker and casino/sportsbetting?

Great question… who knows… but something tells me they will put poker in a different league.
