I think they want CPA affiliates only.
August 1, 2005 at 10:38 pm #669794AnonymousInactiveIt seems like it. There are better deals elsewhere now.
Especially for smaller affiliates, where it is going to be even harder to send 1 active new player per month, to get over 20% commission from their existing players.
All the new commission models are a step away from paying anything over 25%. I would expect the ‘classic’ commission model to be dropped next..

I think Croupier is right, this smells like a concerted plan to rid themselves of their affiliate marketing program altogether.August 1, 2005 at 10:50 pm #669795AnonymousInactiveMaybe we should be copying or taking screenshots of all programs terms and conditions so when they change them we have original copies as sometimes archive.org doesnt catch everything.
Not that anyone can do anything cept drop them when they change terms/conditions – which is what they appear to want.
August 1, 2005 at 11:09 pm #669796AnonymousInactive:flush: I am busy findind Fortune, VL links to drop but RB is easy, i have them on my no deposits casinos page. I put them down around last december for no performance.
This time i am ahead of the game. and i will be happy to blacklist them in my new webmasters page, MORE CONTENT after all. :rasta:
I wondering who’s the next? So far no Playtech, RTG, BOSS…
Looks more like the changes are more Microgaming driven and the others are following. hummm….
Since the changes are not retroactive i will get a check once a while.

August 1, 2005 at 11:24 pm #669797AnonymousInactivePut down the crack pipe RB!!
I mean what a load of BS, they don’t want affiliates is the bottom line, they thought long and hard on these terms so I doubt they will go change them, we are all doing just as they want. removing banners from all our sites!
Are they having a hard time paying the small people who helped them make millions? Unreal and what a bunch of skanks!
I recommend Referspot and Brightshare!
August 1, 2005 at 11:26 pm #669798AnonymousInactiveThis is retroactive:
If a Customer is deemed by the Merchant to have lapsed, an Affiliate shall no longer be entitled to earn Commission of any nature on such Lapsed Customer. For the purposes hereof, a Customer shall be deemed to be a ‘Lapsed Player’ if he/ she has neither purchased nor played at a Merchant Casino or Merchant Poker Room for a consecutive period of 6 (six) months.

You`re right! But i dumping them. Not much to loose.
I hope you guys don’t get serious hurt by this changes.
August 2, 2005 at 12:10 am #669800AnonymousInactiveJust in case anyone wants to hear my opinion on this, i think its fucked and RB is off my sites…
August 2, 2005 at 12:44 am #669801AnonymousInactiveI’m guessing that not only don’t they pay you commission from the 1st deposits of new players, but they also will still take off any bonuses etc. paid to each new player on their first deposit!
That effectively would wipe out any commissions from the players 2nd deposit too, would it not?
August 2, 2005 at 12:51 am #669802AnonymousInactiveFuck this place, they’re coming off my sites too. It’s a shame how they treat afilliates who have been with them for years…disgusting! If it weren’t for us they’d have and be shit! What balls :shooter:
August 2, 2005 at 1:10 am #669803AnonymousInactiveThey for sure don’t give a rat’s ass on what we think, never even bothered to come make a statement.
I think I will jump on a plane to come to the convention to tell them face to face just what I think of the damn crooks! If something is not done by all of us this shit will continue to happen at other groups for sure.
To think when the industry just started out there are some of you who made this damn casino what it is today and this is the thanks you all get?
August 2, 2005 at 5:56 am #669804AnonymousInactiveI come back from holiday and then I see this. Looks like I am going to be busy removing Referback from my sites.
August 2, 2005 at 7:22 am #669805AnonymousInactiveRB, like Fortune and VPL, are now removed from from OGGS.
My estimate, based purely on my first years stats with them, is that this action will cost them around $60,000 a year. I’m sure its a drop in the ocean but it makes me feel better. Thats $60,000 that 32Red and the others can have.
I’d rather have 20% from a property i can trust than 30% from one i can’t.
PS. Anyone seen a huge drop in July earnings between yesterday and today at RB? Mine halved overnight! Gonna post in their forum.
August 2, 2005 at 8:53 am #669806AnonymousInactiveI’ve been slack about updating my page which is number 1 at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=worst+affiliate+programs and http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q=worst+casino+affiliate+programs but I think I now have enough updates to make it worthwhile.
August 2, 2005 at 10:22 am #669807AnonymousInactiveI think its time for a head honcho from refer back to step forward and explain their actions in details even (clause by clause should it be needed) many here have partnered with them for years and it would be a major disaster for them to have huge amounts of people feeling snubbed and hurt.
Thats what they are feeling RB snubbed and hurt ( plus other words one could use)
This is an ideal opportunity for them to show common sense and explain whats up and why.
Silence and/or stubbornness causes resentment.
Come on referback show you have what it takes, your being thrown to the lions here there is still time to turn this around
