July 25, 2005 at 6:46 pm #669255AnonymousInactiveHey, Lou…
Did you not get my phone message on Friday?
I tried to reach you because I was attemting to organize something for Vegas…
I had an idea to get us into a sponsored hold ’em tourney of 30 people. We can make it a firendly competition with 10 CAP Players, 10 APCW Players, and 10 GPWA Players…. and mix it up so that about 3 of each are at each starting table.
You guys interested??? :fencing:
:tounge2:
July 25, 2005 at 7:05 pm #669258AnonymousInactiveI would be, but I don’t play poker…

CAP is going to be hosting a huge party in Vegas sposnored by our friends at Casino Rewards. Keep an eye out for details. I dont see why we couldnt have a poker tourney afterwards.
July 25, 2005 at 7:30 pm #669262AnonymousInactiveSUPER!
I will start fishing for sponsors… I think Gambling Wages may bite, since they hosted Poker Bowl this year… and since they owe me a favor :rollover:
July 25, 2005 at 7:35 pm #669263vladcizsolMemberUnfortunately for us Gambling Wages isnt currently a certified partner at CAP and now that Jon Jon is no longer working with them I am unsure if we will be bringing them back on board. This may not be such a great idea after all…
July 25, 2005 at 7:48 pm #669264AnonymousInactiveOooops…
I typed Gambling Wages when what I ment was Gaming Income…
:shots:
July 25, 2005 at 8:09 pm #669267vladcizsolMemberWell Hell’s Bells and Coconut Shells, they arent a certifed CAP partner either. Cant we get a Good program to sponsor the game?
July 25, 2005 at 8:15 pm #669269AnonymousInactiveI think Gaming Income is a good program…
… a little slow with payments, yes, but I trust Cedrik. :notify:
However… I only suggested them ‘cuz of their experience running real life tournaments… like Poker Bowl… which I played at in Austin.
So… if any affman is reading this and wants to step up, let your voice be heard…
July 25, 2005 at 9:32 pm #669273AnonymousInactiveThanks JTodd!
I’m glad you enjoyed Poker Bowl USA. I remember that you and Anthony did well at the Austin Event.
Indeed, Gaming Income do have the experience and logistic to handle CAP poker tournament.
Unfortunately, Gaming Income is not an certified partner at CAP. :unhappy:
Cheers!
Cedrik
July 25, 2005 at 10:24 pm #669276AnonymousInactiveWell, I dunno what to say about all of this…
When I had the idea about doing this poker tourney, it was my intention to promote it as an APCW event and invite CAP and GPWA players… thus involving us all and making it more fun.
I am still keen to do this, Cedrik, so if you’re interested please give me a call.
July 25, 2005 at 11:13 pm #669278vladcizsolMemberJ Todd I am sorry, but we dont promote non certified casinos here or any events they are involved in. Its not fair to the partners that actually support our community. I have to believe GPWA has a similar policy to be fair to their partners. (If I was one of their partners I would surely hope so.)
I hope that makes sense.
