AmCan and CasinoMan have been hard at work making a plan.
It’s nearly done, the time has come, we need to tell everyone.Right now CasinoMan and I are finalizing the details and expect to have that final information next week, but here are the basics:
When: Monday, January 23rd, probably beginning 5pm
Where: A Bar/Club near Convent Garden (Convent Garden, or Leicester SQ tube stations). The exact details will be posted here next week.
Why: To meet friends and colleagues, socialize and drink. :Partier: :cheers:Last year we put together a pub crawl, that was well attended and well received. There were really 2 issues: 1. most pubs were a bit too small for our group and 2. Moving between bars tends to disrupt the party and cause us to lose/miss people. So, we have found a sponsor (a Certified CAP member) for the event, so we can reserve a larger restaurant/club so we can party the whole evening in one place.
This party will be open to all affiliates and affiliate managers, all CAP and GPWA members, and :rollover: even those who are not in any group.
Stay tuned for details. Please post here if you’re coming.
January 2, 2006 at 7:27 pm #679677AnonymousInactiveHopefully. I’m definately at ICE but not sure i can make the 23rd just yet – i’d planned to be there from the 24th. I’ll see what i can do The Punch & Judy in Covent Garden is always an option – shouldn’t be overcrowded on a Monday night.

January 6, 2006 at 2:36 pm #679994AnonymousInactiveThe plans are in place:
The AmCan and CasinoMan 2006 ICE Breaker Party will occur, at Detroit, in London. Yes, you’ll be coming to Detroit for this party. Fortunately it’s the Detroit Bar http://www.detroit-bar.co.uk, in London, near the 7 Dials, between Convent Garden and Leicester Square tube stations.
The party is sponsored by Wild Jack Gaming and folks from Wild Jack and Lloyd from Brightshare, their affiliate program, will be there. All members of the online gaming community are invited, affiliates and affiliate managers.
Date: Jan. 23, 2006
Time: 5:00 pm until late
Place: Detroit Bar and Restaurant – 35 Earlham Street, London WC2H 9LA
What: drinks, snacks, conversation and drinks again!Hope to see you all there! It’ll be a blast.
January 8, 2006 at 4:06 pm #680097AnonymousInactiveAmCan and Casinoman are organizing a great party and we are very happy to be sponsoring it.
I hope to see a lot of our CAP friends there – affiliates and affiliate managers.
It’s my first time at ICE. I guess considering the time of the year it’s a very appropriate name for this Expo.
Don’t forget your long johns
See you there :capmiami:
January 9, 2006 at 11:48 am #680157AnonymousInactiveI will definately be there. Be good to finally put some faces to the names around here.
and looking forward to meeting Webzcas and the rest of you.
Ditto Spear.
By the way, what is Party’s share price now? Doesn’t Simmo owe us each a tenner?
January 15, 2006 at 1:59 pm #680871AnonymousInactiveSee you all down there

It’s 140, about where they started… so I think it’s six of one and half a dozen of the other
I did, however, learn something I didn’t know – that Michael Jackson (not Jacko) is the chairman of Party Gaming. For me, that’s enough information to stay away – Michael Jackson is the former chairman of Poker.com as well, and he ran that straight into the ground before the domain name was acquired by the current owner.
January 18, 2006 at 2:02 pm #681208AnonymousInactiveFeck. The Radisson is fully booked. Where are people staying?
