Just a suggestion, but it would probably be really helpful to affiliates if CAP could put together a list as complete a list of operators’ payment names v brand name.
Certainly a fair few Gibraltar-based operators will make payments from a different company name, with perhaps only a payment reference indicating the brand. The same must be true for North American/Caribbean companies.
Apologies to CAP if they’ve already done this!
Under the current political climate I would think that it is fairly impossible to do this, as processors and banking venues change at the drop of a hat.
The list would be guarenteed to be outdated all the time and people would run around upset because the listed payment origins never show up.
I wish everyone would adopt affiliate speedpay and we would be done with it.
It’s a great idea/suggestion tomgalanis. This is my #1 frustration with my job so I tend to only actively promote the programs that I can identify payment from or has a dedicated AM that I can correspond with via MSN or skype.

I think us affiliates need to “push” programs to use ASP asap. I signed up, but have not utilized it due to the fact that my money makers do not offer it, but I will make an effort to find out why at my first opportunity.
I think it’s a general fear of investing a sizeable amount of money and resource in to a payment process and for only a selection of affiliates to actually use it or for something else to come along and squash it, whether it be regulation or a brighter payment method.
I think if affiliates ran a proper petition, so that they came together as a huge group demanding that operators use ASP, you’ll certainly see some of the more established operators, or your money makers as you put it, take it on. As soon as one of the big boys takes the step, you’ll no doubt see others follow. I know one group ideally set to bring a petition forward…
Great idea tomgalanis! A list of operators payment names v brand name would be very useful in my everyday job. If anyone could provide that (maybe the CAP-communiy?) I would be very grateful.
