I’ve been receiving a heap of link exchange requests (sometime up to 5 a day) normally I just bin them as they are from sites that are thrown together, yep imo spam.
However, a few of these have been from sites that actually are structured and seem to be genuine.
Sure enough my link is sitting exactly where it’s supposed to be and my link bot checker can crawl the page too. But.
Going back into the site I can’t find an out bound link to their link page, even their site map doesn’t contain a link to their link exchange.
Hence the reason for this post.
Be careful or you maybe giving one way links away without even knowing it!
