So here it is… Link Building used to be the most straightforward SEO practices for any webmaster to apply. And now, the game has totally changed in the post Panda & Penguin worlds we’re living in.
But, what people need to realize, Link Building is not necessarily dead. Instead, there are ways to totally make it work for you. Just differently.
Love this recent post on Unconventional Techniques to Link Building. From what I’m seeing… implementing your Social Media reach as well as seeding the web yourself are working.
What about you? Any tips to share on what’s working and what’s not working for you?

In addition to benefiting your SERP, the brands get direct traffic, as this newspaper websites have a lot of traffic. The only drawback is they cost a small fortune. If anyone has tried this method please feel free to chip in.
Moreover, a lot has been made of adding more digital SEO to your efforts, like producing videos. Not sure how that helps but it seems to be gaining ground.

Awesome share, bingofind. Love these tips.
And yes… It all circles back to guest blogging. Yes… there’s a lot that goes into it. But, affiliates can certainly reap the benefits by networking with content driven channels and circle it back through links that way.
Have you personally had success with this? Would love to hear how you got started!
August 9, 2012 at 7:19 am #827047BFPMemberEverytime we post articles on high PR websites, which might not be related to our niche, we tend to see an increase in our SERP within a few days. The only thing here is that you must keep them coming on a regular basis, and not as a one-off editorial. I personally suggest at least a plan spread over 3 months to see the full effects.
In case your budget is not sufficient, you might as well wait until you have the money, and then start the campaign.
