Hi, affiliate giggles7p
I am at the end of my wits, and i am posting this here for you because everytime i email to G3 or Cheryl i get no response or i get an answer that to me, is wrong.
so here is my problem.
Ever since casinoshare and g3 partnered up, i have had, and i repeat, i have had no activity at all.!!!….i had depositors at Monaco, before the move, but they have all but disappeared. and as for now, i have not had any depositors for over 3 months now??????? i am making NOTHING!…i have both casinos in top placement on my site, with no hits????? no players?????….i do not believe this and want my account checked. It could be my fault, maybe i have wrong tracking, which i don’t but it could happen, but something is fishy in denmark!!!
Please get back to me asap, for i have had it. and i will take down any banners and links i may have, if i am told that i for real, have not had any activity. that just means no one who comes to my site likes your casino’s??? even though they are Micro????….but it this is what you tell me, then promoting your sites is a waste of my time and space.
thank you in advance for looking into this for me, and i am sorry if i seem short, but its late, and this has been going on to long, with no income.
thank you
patAugust 29, 2007 at 8:38 am #747124JimmMemberHi Pat,
There are a few issues highlighted in your post, all of which warrant some kind of response or action.
The first is your claim that everytime you e-mail us, we don’t respond or don’t issue you with a rational response. I have chatted to Cherylann, and the last time she received an e-mail from you was in April, and that she resolved the situation as best she could. Additionally, the last time you and I spoke was on July 25th, and that was also resolved.
Also, to confirm, I have inspected your affiliate links for Grand Mondial and CasinoShare, and they are perfectly set up.
I am also just checking your past payments, particularly from November 2006 onwards, which is when the PlayShare Group acquired Grand Monaco and G3 Partner. You generated revenue on one or both program in November 2006, December 2006, January 2007 and February 2007. Additionally, you have generated players at Grand Monaco in the months of May 2007 and August 2007, and a player at CasinoShare in August 2007, although none of those players have gone on to deposit and wager real money. There are also visits and downloads showing in your online stats.
I understand how frustrating this may be for you, but this seems to be the result of a combination of a few things:
- You have tended to rely on a handful of players to generate long-term revenue for you. All players have a finite lifespan at a casino and, combined with the legal developments in the US late last year, this has shortened the lifespan of US players even more. This is a relatively common outcome for many US affiliates, and one which is not very easy to remedy.
- I am not sure how much unique traffic your site receives on a monthly basis, but the banner stats available to you and I indicate that it is not all that high. There are many views (impressions), but few clicks and downloads. This is not necessarily indicative of the quality of the banners or your website, but more because of the type of website you have. Forums are built on repeat visitors (hence the high number of views) rather than large volumes of new visitors.
- The nature of your website is one that may attract many players, many of which were not referred to the casino by you. I have noticed this on many of the community forum-type sites such as yours. So, even if there is lots of activity on your forum, and on a casino contest, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be earning all the revenue.
I would definitely say that promoting our casinos is NOT a waste of time, as we are continually growing and posting record numbers every single month. I would say that you should speak to your affiliate manager, Cherylann, about developing a revised marketing strategy. You’re not going to make a million dollars overnight (although I wish you could), but we can make improvements every month and get you back to where you belong as soon as possible!
Kind regards,
Lawrence.August 29, 2007 at 12:23 pm #747151AnonymousInactiveDue we run also forums
i want to add my opinionyeah its true forums generate more returning visitors
but it all depends on how you promote your forum
we get lot of new traffic either
i believe very important is
what and how you post, subject should have good titles
so that search engines pick them upi think
its not enought to just have a banner in top space
i do almost every week some new post for GM or CS
and this keeps the spiders coming and pick up that linkswe are doing very good with G3 and Playshare
we did always better with GM
but since i do also more posting for CS
it grows there eitherwell, sure we getting also many sign ups who dont make a dep
but, there are some who do
and what amazes me is
i have some players at GM
from the begin
and they are still playing every month, …….
Yeah this amazes me, due i have some other programms
where we earned really good, and now absolute nothing anymoreI have no doubt that Playshare affiliate programm is one of the best out there.
August 30, 2007 at 1:19 am #747293AnonymousInactiveHi,
Thank you so much for such a detailed answer!
I really appreciate you taking the time to answer me, and give me an explanation to my concerns.
I do know that i had made some money in the beginning of the year, and it was a constant, every month, not much but always something, my concern is that the past 3 or 4 month, there is nothing. not even a download, from what my stats show, i do have 1 new player, from what month i do not remember, but if you feel its my websites concern as to why i have not been getting any hits or downloads or dep., than i will leave it at that, and decide myself what i will do next.
I go out and heavly promote the contest i have running with you, to no avail, which i also do not understand, for i do know your casinos are well liked. So maybe its just me, maybe its just the way i promote, or the way my forum operates. i am cluesless to the why’s.
But i do know i used to make money with you, and my website has not changed, and now, i am not making anything and i promote you more than i have before.
And as far as emails are concerned, You say the last time i emailed cheryl was in April, and yes, i did and it was about what we are talking about now, and she replied pretty much the same as you, so i left it alone, for 3 more months, and still nothing has changed? that is why i have not sent more emails, and the one time she did answer, was not the only time i emailed.
Maybe my emails don’t get through, but i for sure have emailed more than once.
Thank you for your time, and explanation, and i will take it into consideration everything you have said here, in making whatever changes i have to in the future.
thanks

You are most welcome, Pat. As mentioned in my last post, I understand your frustration at the lack of performance, and a query of this nature definitely deserves a full analysis

I think there are more than a few factors influencing the perceived lack of success with the contest, and your marketing efforts in general. Some are out of our direct control (for example, we’re in the so-called summer months, which are quieter than usual), whilst others can be improved upon. What is vital is that we all learn from everything we do, so that we increase the potential for success next time.
Please do e-mail Cherylann ([email protected]), and she will work with you in making improvements to your marketing efforts.

I know that sometimes the miracle of e-mail doesn’t always work as we expect it to, so possibly some e-mails dissolved into cyberspace! If you don’t receive a response from your affiliate manager within a minimum of 48 hours (excluding weekends – we also have social lives, you know ), please contact one of the following, and they’ll be sure to pass on the message to the appropriate person:
Lawrence – [email protected]
Cherylann – [email protected]
Roland – [email protected]
Anne – [email protected]
Simone – [email protected]August 30, 2007 at 2:19 pm #747365AnonymousInactiveTriple777s do you have any clicks in your statistics? if you have them your statistics works well, or try to download one of Playshare casinos and register there as a fan player and your statistics must track this. If you don’t have players or downloads it doesn’t mean that the affiliate program is a fraud.
Player conversions depend on your traffic, I have pages like “no deposit casino” and etc., that bring me nothing, but this mean that this traffic was looking to play for free.
But i do know i used to make money with you, and my website has not changed, and now, i am not making anything and i promote you more than i have before.
In this case I recommend you to promote several programs in such way and you will find the most converted program. The same situation was with me when I promoted CPays more than other programs, and I received nothing, after several months I decided to try to promote several programs better like CPays and I got some good results.
Regarding Playshare, they are nice guys, and Lawrence is very helpful.
