InactiveI understand the concept of what you are trying to do….
BUT – did he ask us to steal our content?
Do you think he will really say…. OK, I guess I’ll give up my $1,000,000 per month because you guys will take out my sites.
If this guy is as good as everyone here thinks that he is, then he probably creates 100 or more sites per day. I doubt he cares if we try to knock him out.
Don’t get me wrong.. I think we can put a serious dent in his income, but threatening him and notifying him of what is about to happen will only double his efforts at site creation.

InactiveGreek is right about this guy. He is well known and very well connected.

InactiveIts a complex issue and difficult to understand. All I can say is this this fellow is wired to the teeth. He will rip your site apart in an instant. Every hacker/malicious hackers cares about their work to the point of obsession. He has probably spent 30 years perfecting his craft. Then a webmaster comes along and does some slapping. This he would not tolerate, not for a second. Get to know this stuff and you will draw the same conclusions.

Maybe he is watching right now!

greek39 wrote:Then a webmaster comes along and does some slapping. I mean, if you were going to attack an army of militia, would you walk up to them and say… ‘Pardon me, kind sir, but would you please surrender. We are about to tear your ass from your body.’ My guess… Is that he will immediately be on the offensive and looking for attacks. Not the best scenario if we truly want to take down his network.
Know what I mean?

InactiveMy colleques I beleive have a higher stature than this fellow. In this case if he doesn’t stand down then he is in trouble. If you do not know the lingo and have hacker prowness/clout you have no respect with this guy what so ever. The hacker community is just that a community. Some bad ones in the bunch that go astray and become cracker heads but if you insult a higher ranking member then yes they will form you a new asshole.
Now picture a webmaster attacking this fellow with no knowledge with programming nor ways off communications. To really get this guys attention go back 30 years and begin to learn. greek39
Just last week many of us had Dos attacks, I beleive he did it. I just want everybody to be careful. I don’t like seeing people get hurt.

InactiveSounds good then. I just needed your perspective to see why this method might work.

I believe he took apart GPWA too. And those attacks were just shots across our bow, so to speak. This guy is the real deal.

Yes,
I got the email from John. Saying it was a hacker that took them down.

InactiveAnd unless I missed it, GPWA hasn’t been anywhere near as active and in an uproar about this deal as CAP, so I wonder what the idea was behind it.

InactiveHoly crap.
I thought Ziv’s mini biography (posted by Professor a few pages back) was interesting, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. Search for “Ziv Dascalu” and this is what you get:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22+Ziv+Dascalu%22&btnG=Google+Search
:Ohno: :Ohno: :Ohno:
Is it even possible to take someone like this down? :unhappy:

InactiveGet a collection of his sites and servers. Find the spam results and submitt them to Google. But I suggest keeping it quite, stealth. He hasn’t played around with me yet too much, I am assuming my tagging of post may have helped. greek39
Again type into Google search Jargon it will be the number1 positon. Look for Eric’s resume, should be in the middle of the page. Click on it and read. This fellow ziv although his biography appears to be vey good, the good hackers are always self taught. Its too early to start making plans, I do know this stuff very well. Do not equate hacker with malcious hacker or old school lingo cracker. HTML to them is shit code, unix linux, java, object oriented programming, c, c+, dos, they love. Hackers are the ones who developed such language.
I agree with the professors statements 100%

InactiveBump.
This asshole is now not only trying to bowl Dom’s site out of the rankings, but has thrown up thousands of pages using my content from my main portal.
Gloves are now off on this one. We all need to work together and put Ziv out of our industry for good.

Inactiveive been nailed too….
search for “drawdead”
Dunno if it helps or not but i spent the last 2 hours filing spam reports with google for deceptive redirects.
