Dear Readers,
I am using the free version of wordtracker sometimes to get ideas for keywords.
The free version shows other words for poker like
poker online
poker bettingI don’t think this words are much less competitive.
How can I find keywords or phrases that help to get more search results?
:confused:I appreciate any help.
November 17, 2004 at 4:29 pm #657851AnonymousInactiveI generally found it useful to pay.
However, here is a warning:
Word tracker lists some copyrighted words in their lists, without identifying them.
I ended up inadvertently using one of those (not in the casino field) and ended up being sued for a million bucks.
This is not some silly suit, it is well founded and filed and all and costing plenty to deal with.
So, be careful when you use terms from wordtracker. If in doubt, check for copy right!!!!

Do you mean I can get sued for using keywords that are copyrighted? There are so many words that are copyrighted – how do I do I check without getting sued? What is an example of a copyrighted word – “akins”?
Thank you,
MoreMoneyDecember 4, 2004 at 12:23 am #658519AnonymousInactiveYou can definitely get sued for copyrighted keywords.
Usually people will contact you though before filing suit.
Yes , Atkins is definitely one. But there are also ones which you would not suspect.
One way to find out is to type the word into a search engine and see what comes up.
Obviously I am not the best authority on how to avoid lawsuits based on trademark infringement.
If in doubt, ask a lawyer is my policy now.

Word tracker keeps track of how many people are under which keyword on the search engines.
So you can type in casino for instance, and it will give you a list of words connected to casino that are not yet so overcrowded that you cannot compete. You can then maximize your website or page to one of these terms and have a better chance at getting found.

The same for overture too ??
December 4, 2004 at 4:11 am #658524AnonymousInactiveWordtracker is an excellent value for the money. Go for one of the shorter term commitments if you’re unsure of the value, then decide for yourself.

The same for a lot of places on the web.
It may well be the rope by which scumware will eventually be hung.
Sooner or later there will be a lot of law suits about trademark violations on the net.
Oh, and yes, word tracker is definitely a very useful SEO tool.
