This is over at the GIA (posted in private today) and give the impression that CAP has not closed the agreement/deal on the audit. Any idea of what is going on?
Dear GamTrak,
Gabriel Rome has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled – Was Audit situation rectified – in the Rome Partners forum of Gambling Industry Association Forums.
Here is the message that has just been posted:

Thank you for moving this Rick. I should have thought to start a new thread.I had actually asked this of Rome (Gabrial) here because I would have liked his prospective on it. ………

Hi Mojo, I never saw this thread in GPWA.It’s pretty simple.
CAP performed an “Audit”, and gave some affiliates cash to check out our tracking.
Some of the affiliates did not use the cash, and because of a misunderstanding of that, the person responsible for writing the report of the audit, assumed that those non-deposits were simply not tracked. It was hell on earth for us here for a few days, but once we cleared it up, everything was resolved.
Regarding some sort of official apology from CAP, I understand there is one in the works.I hope this clears it up for you.
Regards,
G

Due to the potential backlash from certified programs the CAP Audit program is being redesigned to ensure 100% accuracy through all phases of the test. It is also under scrutiny internally and I am unsure when or if our next audit will take place due to the negative experience we had with Rome.

That works for me and I let them know in a reply.
No problem about the audits. It’s not like I’m excited to continue it anyway after the way it was handled. :hattip:
