Ever been offered something so sweet, but after you accept it you find yourself going straight to hell? Thats how I feel about Party’s manipulation of me and others. How on earth were they certified here? I can’t believe they are allowed to do this. And the certification? What does it take to become certified? A greesed palm? A new car? What on earth was the motivation to put a stamp of approval on these characters? I’ve searched this forum for ANY good news about PP. Maybe I’m clueless, so if there is any good news about PP here please shoot me a link!!

If you have a specific beef or warning for other affiliates, this is definately a great forum for it, but ya gotta give us a lil more to go on here sweetie, all ya said was theyre the devil..

    What happened exactly?

My beef with Party Poker is this:
They made me a really cool offer that was truly a forbidden fruit in disguise. In a recent World Cup affiliate promo, I was given specific instructions how to use my own player account to convert new referrals. I did exactly what my affiliate manager instructed. So I invest only 350 in this and converted 6 players, of which 1 wasn’t originally my referral, but anyway 5 good ones out of 6. Then burned the last 50 at PP. I am pretty much due to double my investment with my CPA plus World Cup Bonus. So I added 4 pages to my site exclusively for PP, and put pp banners on nearly every page on my site. When time to collect, I am locked out of the cashier pending a fraud investigation. So I begin the usual email chain. They responded to me that my players simply have not played yet, but don’t worry, they will play eventually. The problem that I have with that response is that I have personally witnessed 3 referrals plus the other guy in action within minutes of the funding transfer.
I do believe they are becoming a good candidate for any ROGUE lists. Not only because of my experience, but due to the negative posts by other CAP members also. It seems to be a problem that needs to be addressed by the affiliate industry.
I do realize that I have misplaced this thread, however this area seems to get more attention.

Great way to endear support from a community/board… accuse them of duplicity first! LOL

PP is my #1 money maker, and has been for two years….

Hi Bill, thx for the response. That is exactly what I’m looking for. I needed someone with any good news what so ever about party poker. My personal relationship was satisfying until my aff manager specifically asked me to do that program mentioned before. Thats my problem here. I have no doubt that they are reasonable, because I know another American affiliate that is successful with party also. It’s just the slap in the face when thay say my referrals have not played at all! I have seen 60% of them in action on live tables and tourneys. This thread is started in my hope to get a reasonable explanation of why they are targeting newer affiliates and taking advantage of us. My complaint on CAP is not the first one about PP. It’s just in a place where it will get better exposure. I have posted replies on other threads, and I believe that this industry does need to be warned of the possibility of getting screwed by them. I’m not the first one to fall for this scam, and surely not to be the last.
As for the loyal PP affiliates, and senior members on this forum, please pardon my blatent disrespect for PP. This in no way was meant to offend anyone who doesn’t owe me money. I hope to hear any more GOOD NEWS about pp, that way I will have some hope of reinbursment for my cash spent and the many hours wasted promoting them. I would also really appreciate any official from PP to please defend your company. Make me feel like an :shakebutt hole.
I swear, if they would give me a reason to keep promoting them, and an explanation that is honest, I will return to this forum and publicly proclaim their greatness! But in the mean time:rasberry:

I already commented on this situation in another thread.

Yes, attacks don’t go down well here, this is a professional board.

I agree that PP uses an underhanded method to generate new players.

They need fishes, and you get to pay to put them there. After the fish loses he goes home to lick his wounds. PP then keeps the happy winner coming back because there are so many fishes, and you are out of your money.

    Nice business they do.

Sorry but I have to pipe in here too. Myself and another CAP member Antoine were blatantly, to put it mildly, screwed by the PartyPoker folks. I was an affiliate for over 5 years there, happily. They were my highest promoted affiliate, and it paid well for years. Then the affiliate area goes down for 10 days for some ‘reconstruction’ and wham, not a single dime coming in – all my players gone and PP saying “we don’t know what you’re talking about, tracking is fine”. 5 Years of regular daily players, some damn good cash, gone – completely gone. Last year I had a total of 12 days out of 365 where there was no purchasing. From the day the affiliate area went down I had 45 days with no purchase. The day after I sent a very ugly email (after many nice ones asking them to please fix it), I had a deposit of $50. Then another 40 days with nothing. Once in a while now, maybe once a month I get some random $50 in there. In November of 2005 I had total purchasing of 12,000.00, and it was pretty steady like that for years prior. Their theory is that every player I earned for the past five years must have all played on the no download game so they all left when they took off the no download. Excuse me?

Not to mention that we haven’t seen a rep for them here in how long?

The comments regarding PP are pretty solid negative, I myself wonder why they are still certified.

I agree it is pretty suspicious and frustrating the situation kat and I were in. To give party gaming credit this has nothing to do with the poker site. This is involving starluck.

And yes, calling partygaming satan is probably not the best approach but i think we have to admit that something is wrong there. Like Kat after the downtime I had absolutely no activity in my account except for several small debits.

I too lost all my casino players at that time, without reimbursement.

I did not have as many as Antoine, but still, it was my money they kept for themselves.

This is actually Tradal’s fault, Tradal refused to divulge the identity of affliates to Party when they sold the players. They then proceeded to buy out some of the major poker affs, but if you were smaller or you were promoting the casinos, you were screwed.

Party could have fixed it in the cases where the affs were known as they previously affiliated with the casinos through Party anyway, but Party did not step up to the plate either.

In the case of casinos, both are to blame.

    (jumping in)
So I will be another to say I was screwed by them and my accounts closed for no reason. I promoted them very heavy and have no idea at what time they even closed my accounts. No one has talked to me about it even after tons of emails. I meet with them in vegas and gave them my info and they assured me they would reopen the account and all my players would still mapped to me. guess what.. still not there.
I washed my hands of it. They are so damn big and powerful in the online poker bus. that I feel like I am wasting my time. I am surprised actually that they still have an affiliate program. I was thinking that by now they would have closed everyones accounts and sent everyone a nice thank you letter.

Just for the record… party gaming always owned starluck casino. Tradal never owned this entity, so that excuse doesn’t work in that regards. I provided proof of this in another thread.

Yep. Agreed. No excuse for not paying affiliates.

For me, I understand mistakes happen and am always willing to work things out and wait patiently for a fix – especially for a profitable affiliation of 5 years.

My biggest issue (other than the large loss of revenue of course) is the fact that they tell me everything is fine and has never stopped working perfectly. To me, that is just plain old lying – something I have very serious issue with. Their dishonesty about this situation is the thing that gets to me the most.

They tell me that too, but I have less than $50 income for July.

All of my casino players must have naturally quit when they switched, and no one signed up since?

    Where are my players?
