I’m assuming yes but has anyone heard when they are leaving?
November 13, 2008 at 12:15 am #786720AnonymousInactivei’ve sent them an email 5 days ago inquiring the same and still no answer :flush:
November 13, 2008 at 12:30 am #786727AnonymousInactiveMy guess is that they have nothing to say as yet, I don’t think they are in agreement with this move.
November 13, 2008 at 1:23 am #786736AnonymousInactiveWe did get a reply on the 10th from them. The email said they welcome US players but it was very brief and I was just wondering if anything had changed. We started promoting them last month and sign ups have been great. This whole MG thing is so disappointing.
November 13, 2008 at 8:46 am #786770AnonymousInactiveThe last I heard is that they want to continue to accept players and will do their best to make this happen but if MGS tells them its 100% a no they can’t fight it – I think their aff dept know as much as we do right now and am sure Roman woudl update if he knew more
November 13, 2008 at 8:54 am #786771AnonymousInactiveHi ssd,
Intertops is committed to serve our customers (no matter where they are based) and to keep good relationships with our business partners – and affiliates are obviously very important partners.
That being said I need to add that Microgaming (our casino and poker software provider) made the decision to Geo IP block customers if they are based within these 18 states: Michigan, Illinois, Louisiana, Oregon, Wisconsin, Washington, Indiana, Nevada, South Dakota, New Jersey and New York as well as Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri but to unblock players if they are based in the later 5 upon receiving confirmation that they are really based there.
To make a long story short: Intertops is not pulling out of the US.
Hi splinterfree,
I have answered all e-mails. Could you please be so kind and re-send your e-mail to [email protected] it looks like our SPAM filter is acting up. If the re-sending does not work, please PM me your e-mail.
November 13, 2008 at 2:37 pm #786798AnonymousInactiveI knew it, Roman! You guys came through!
Good move!!!! :hattip:

I asked Roman this today in email and he clearly replied “Yes” they will continue to take new registrations from the U.S. except for the banned states mentioned.
Intertops rocks!

November 13, 2008 at 9:37 pm #786846AnonymousInactiveI think it means that players that live in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri can play at Intertops, but need to first send in documents to verify their address since these are neighboring states to Kentucky.

Hey Roman,
Did you forget to add Kentucky and Utah?
November 18, 2008 at 5:06 pm #787421AnonymousInactiveWell that didn’t last long…
Dear Affiliate,
Intertops strives to provide outstandingly good service to its customers – no matter where they are located – and to maintain fair and long-term relationships with its business partners: You, as an affiliate, are a very important business partner.
As you may know, Intertops does not use the Microgaming Online Registration and/or Online Banking. As a result we have not been dependent on decisions made by Microgaming and have been able to welcome sign-ups from the United States.
However, we have received information from Microgaming today advising us that we have to shut down ALL US registrations. Therefore we will discontinue new registrations for the US later today. Please note that this will not impact your existing player base, all commissions will be paid on time as usual.
Please understand that the decision to disable registrations from the United States is not ours and we are working on a solution to enable new customers as soon as possible.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
Kind regards,
The Intertops.com Affiliate TeamNovember 18, 2008 at 6:09 pm #787436AnonymousInactiveNow, I notice you mentioned poker and casino, That being said I need to add that Microgaming (our casino and poker software provider)……. does this also include no USA sports betting or can USA players still register for sportsbetting?
November 18, 2008 at 6:41 pm #787441AnonymousInactiveHi Buddy,
Intertops welcomes signups from the US in the sportsbook. However, we have to block them from accessing the casino and/or poker.
