I know lots of people have pretty good success with Bovada, but what about Bodog? Do they also allow US players and deposits? Do they have a poker room? If so, is it as active as Bovada’s?

They are good as a Canadian casino, sports books , and race book. They do have a poker room but I believe us players can only play at bovada. I would check with their official website for that.

edgarf76 is correct. US players can not play at Bodog, they must use Bovada.. and Bodog only accepts Canadian players now (from what im told)

Bodog/Bovada are pretty much the same. There is only one difference: Bodog is for Canadians and Bovada for US players.
