Hi Lou,
Over at the GIA the CPA asked that this be passed out to Grand Prive in London, but I figured that it would be good to post it for your review and to approach them with it before London:

I don’t know if any of you guys were promoting Poker Room, but this must have slipped under the radar because I didn’t see anything about it.
I had removed them several years ago, but while doing some updates, I noticed I had an obscure link or two still up.I figured I may as well check the stats for fun to see if anything happened.
I saw this notice posted after I logged in.Dear Affilate Partner
As the owner of EuroPoker.com and PokerRoom.com, the bwin group has now decided to centre its Affiliate Marketing efforts on bwin.com, the most successful and best converting of its brands. We therefore regret to inform you that we are forced to hereby terminate all Marketing Agreements with PokerAffiliate.com as of the 30th November 2008, in accordance with Clause 17.2. of our Terms and Conditions giving 30 days prior written notice. As a result, PokerAffiliate.com will no longer pay any remuneration for newly acquired customers for PokerRoom.com and EuroPoker.com generated by the affiliate partners as of the 1st December 2008.
Affiliates will continue earning commission for users referred before the 1st December 2008 and receive their payments as usual in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Marketing Agreement with PokerAffiliate.com.
Your account at PokerAffiliate.com will remain fully accessible and regulated.
We would like to thank you for your vital contribution to the success of EuroPoker.com and PokerRoom.com. However, we are pleased to continue to offer you a long and successful cooperation with bwin.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact your Account Manager.OK, so this is exactly the same situation as Grand Prive, IMO.
They made a choice to stop using Affiliates going forward, which kind of sucks, but it is their right to do this. They gave the proper notice, and made it clear that Affiliates would continue to be paid on the players they had brought them up thru November 2008 as agreed.
Had Grand Prive followed the same procedure,…. sure it still would have heartbreaking,…. but there would not be any hard feelings either.
Someone that is going to CAP London should take a copy of this Poker Room notice and suggest to Grand Prive that they do the same.
Problem solved.
