Judging & Voting Process | iGB Affiliate AwardsiGB Affiliate Announces New Awards Categories and Some Very Funny Business
13 August 2010 (London, UK) — iGaming Business have announced that nominations for the 4th annual iGB Affiliate Awards will open on 23rd August. Always a much anticipated event, this year will see a number of improvements both in the nominations and voting and at the glittering award ceremony itself, which will take place on Thursday 27th January at the Brewery, London.
This year the awards have been revamped to offer an even better experience for all those taking part be they a nominee or not. “After listening to feedback from the industry, we have changed the nominations and voting process,” said Alex Pratt, Publisher of iGaming Business. “It’s important to us that the awards really celebrate the innovation and hard work of the people in this industry”
This year the number of categories has been reduced to 14 in order to allow for a more comprehensive and transparent judging structure and to ensure the integrity of the awards are upheld. As past winners have testified, winning an iGB Affiliate award really is an amazing experience.
“It truly is a wonderful thing to walk away with an iGB Award,” Renee Mate, of Rewards Affiliates admitted. “Knowing that you were voted as the best is the most amazing feeling in the world because you know it comes straight from the people you work with and that your hard work is being appreciated.”
The categories for 2011 will be Best Affiliate Manager, Best Affiliate Program, Best Affiliate in each of the following categories, Bingo, Poker, Sportsbook, Non Traditional Gaming and Overall and new for 2011, Best iGaming Affiliate Network, Best Payment System for Affiliates, Best iGaming Community, Best Newcomer: Operator, Best Newcomer: Affiliate and finally Best Innovation in the iGaming Affiliate Industry.
As the only event to recognise the hard work and dedication in the igaming affiliate industry, iGB Affiliate want to ensure that there is an opportunity for all those involved to be nominated and recognised for their achievements. With these new categories there is now something for everyone and there are more opportunities to acknowledge the work of the affiliates themselves, who are often the unsung heros.
So with the awards themselves revamped the IGB Events team shifted their focus onto the glittering ceremony itself and this year they want you to have the final laugh by helping them decide who will entertain you on the night.
“We want to make this night the very best it can be and one way to do that is a great venue and a great compere,” stated Kiera Goymour, Events Manager, “and who better to decide who makes them laugh than the industry itself”.
And so this year the industry has the opportunity to decide who will entertain them. Online voting continues until the 23rd August at Choose Your Presenter for the iGB Affiliate Awards 2011 Survey
