Hi Guys – Now LAC is over its time to start planning for the Super Show (and of course iGB DownUnder)
The Super Show is our new Amsterdam show and is set to be enormous – Already we have over 45 exhibitors in the affiliate zone and 12 in the iGaming Business zone and all of the parties sponsored so expect big things. This is basically LAC and IGE/ICE mixed into one event. Also we have changed the pre advertised dates to May 25 – 28 as the previous dates were over the world cup and caused quite a lot of problems for affiliates and operators….First announcment is below
New Dates for the iGaming Super Show
If you attended LAC we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did, we had 2,194 delegates through the doors, a record not just for our event but for an event in our industry. We are now focusing all our efforts on the iGaming Super Show, a new event for the entire industry that we are confident will meet the business needs of everyone working in it and break all records for attendance as we welcome all sectors within our industry, including regulators, operators, media, affiliates and vendors..
New Date for iGaming Super Show
After listening to feedback from many of you we are pleased to announce that we are moving the iGaming Super Show forward two weeks to the 25th and 28th May. The reasons being that the original Super Show dates took place during the World Cup which meant many South African clients would have to pay a lot more money to fly over for the event, and importantly many sportsbooks would have not been able to attend due to this being an extremely busy time for their business.By moving the event forward we can maximise attendance and ensure we deliver the event you, our delegates and exhibitors expect with 2,500+ attendees and importantly we can guarantee the whole industry will be in attendance not just simply a cross section.
If you are not aware of the iGaming Super Show, you can see more information here. As you can see this is a completely new concept for a conference and exhibition where we are bringing the entire industry under one roof to a free of charge event, with high value speakers, content and exhibitors with a single aim of delivering genuine value to both our delegates and exhibitors.
Why don’t you bookmark this page so you can keep up to date with our speakers and panel sessions as we add them.Call for Speakers and Sessions
We are now making a call for speakers and sessions for the conference at the iGaming Super Show, so please see the three conference tracks we have below and come back to [email protected] with your suggestions.Conference Room 1- Affiliate Marketing
This track will be dedicated to the affiliate marketing side of our sector so will be focusing specifically on online marketing and affiliate related issues such as search engine optimization, email marketing, social network marketing, landing page optimization, conversion strategies, etc.Conference Room 2 – Business and Strategy
This track will be targeting the more senior people working in iGaming that have established brands and business’ but are looking at the next step whether this be M&A or organic expansion. We hope to bring in speakers from outside of the sector to talk about lessons learnt and how they can be applied in iGaming, technological opportunities, M&A strategy, and other topics that will help our delegates expand their business and ultimately make more money through broad business practice as opposed to specific iGaming issues.Conference Room 3 – iGaming Industry Issues
These sessions will cover topical industry issues such as European regulation, land based operators to online, the USA, the influence of the media in iGaming, important legal updates, opportunities in emerging markets etc. The idea is to create discussion panels and presentations that will be topical and thus of great interest to the audienceIf you would like any other information that you can’t find here then please drop Alex or Kiera an email.
Best Regards
Alex, Shona, Kiera and Marit

09 March 2010 (London, UK) — iGaming Business, leading provider of intelligence to the online gambling market, has unveiled its plans to showcase an innovative conference stream which aims to educate and track global regulatory trends and policies. The iGaming Super Show, to be held in Prague between the 25th-28th of May, will be hosting a series of seminars on the 26th specifically aimed at regulators and operators in order to create a deeper understanding on regulatory activity.
“Regulation is one of the most important issues in modern igaming,” commented Michael Caselli, Managing Editor for iGaming Business. “The Super Show’s approach is not only to educate operators on regulation, but to allow existing regulators to share insights that could help future regulators to creating a successful igaming framework in their jurisdictions.”
In a global market where regionalization is a harsh reality, it is critical for the online gambling industry to understand the key nation-specific licensing and regulating factors. In turn iGaming Business will be focusing on these issues via a threefold look at the industry, namely through a Global Regulatory Panel, an in-depth look at key success factors for global regulator and finally a special focus on US Tribal Gaming’s position; their huge influence on the American gaming lobby and potentially their part in shaping the future of igaming in the US.
“We are inviting potential and present regulators from across Europe, South America and the United States to what is really a high-level global regulator’s forum,” Caselli continued when asked who will be attending the session. “Of course, all attendees of the Super Show are welcome to attend this track, and I am sure it will be one of the most popular tracks at the show.”
The popularity of this topic reflects the fact that in most countries, one of the most problematic issues is a lack of experience with liberalized gambling markets. Hence the attendance of regulatory pioneers at the iGaming Super Show, as they will aim to demonstrate how they have successfully licensed, regulated and taxed online gaming operators.
Essentially it is only through a balance of regulatory restriction, fair taxation and sensible policy that a viable and successful igaming jurisdiction can be created. With countries all over the world slowly opening their doors to online gambling, both operators and regulators alike need to work together to grow this cash-rich global market and understand the current local opportunities and restrictions.
With this conference iGaming Business is eager to demonstrate the self-evident truth that online gaming is here to stay and only in a transparent and adequately regulated industry will state and companies be better able to safeguard their citizens and customers. The iGaming Super Show is free for all attendees and you can find more details on the event and how to register on Overview | iGB Super Show.
March 10, 2010 at 4:27 pm #808937neanderthalMemberDublin’s definitely become cheaper in the last two years and a recent report had the hotels at the 2nd cheapest in Europe. A great venue would be the RDS http://www.rds.ie/ very close to the city. There is a Jury’s hotel very close which is also very reasonable. I believe we could definitely make this work for Sep 2011.
Maybe we can get a list of people below who would like this as a venue and see what the interest is like!
