Memberi think the best way to learn is by learning by the mistakes of others, so I pose this question to all of you, whether an operator, affiliate, seo, whatever. I think that we can all contribute, and also learn from the mistakes of others to become better at what we do by sharing our thoughts as well
Knowing what you know today, if you had to start over in your business, what would you do differently?
I hope everyone can contribute something! Please share your thoughts, lessons, failures, etc. so we can all do things better

giving up on a site too easily, and flittering to the next business idea. in other words, not resisting temptation well enough to focus on my main sitesDecember 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm #813655Anonymous

Membertrying to get everything perfect , every word right etc.
its ok to build pages and then at some point go back and refine them, rather than trying to get every one perfect first up,

MemberClear vision and strategy planning before spending loads of money on testing ideas, clearer contracts in writing, and networking with the best in the world. I didn’t understand how valuable good mentors could be.

InactiveOh yes, get everything in writing. No phone conversations that conclude in a contract – make sure it’s followed up in writing.

InactiveWould not have started a first time forum on ezboard for sure:turn: I would have researched better and most of all I would have made sure a new casino was stable before I started marketing it.

InactiveYep, it took me some time to realize I had to be very careful about who I promoted… Some of the first places on my site I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole today.
