Yep, I am looking at my logs every minute. I expect a lot of us will be targetted.
May 3, 2006 at 2:11 pm #690888vladcizsolMemberGuys without proof that its actually 888 behind the attacks I cant add that to the press release. They would sue us senseless and they would win.
What I can include in the release is that affiliates or agents of the organization are using unacceptable practices to promote the brand. These agents and affiliates are doing site scraping and stealing content from publishers and also engauging in blog spamming. This issue has been brought to the attention of 888 and we believe that they have not made a good faith effort to resolve these issues. As a result CAP is suspending their certification until such time that 888 has corrected these matters.
May 3, 2006 at 2:13 pm #690889AnonymousInactiveI think 888.com is behind every rock.
888.com>>>>tradel>>>>affiliates

Completely agree. I certainly believe it is the rogue affiliates who have a lot to lose as a result of our collective action here and elsewhere.
I doubt 888 would be directly involved in this and there is no way you will be ever able to prove it.
May 3, 2006 at 2:18 pm #690892AnonymousInactiveIf the affs are doing it then 888 is complying.
I don’t like being rash.
If our efforts pay off and 888 complies, we need to let them redeem themselves or no other program will ever comply again because there is no point to it.
Better to stay rogue.
So let’s be careful here.
I see no scrapers in google by 888 anymore, just alot of casino pays.
May 3, 2006 at 2:19 pm #690893AnonymousInactiveHave Max and Bryan been notified?
May 3, 2006 at 2:23 pm #690894AnonymousInactiveI am anticpating Miami maybe a private room conference. I am hesitant in carrying proof across the border. I have a lot to say, in regards to this whole issue. I have already connected the dots. You are all welcome maybe a 2 hour chat I know this stuff very well. I also have the resources to deal with it but will have more a month from now.
I would hold off on a press release until after Miami. greek39
May 3, 2006 at 2:24 pm #690895AnonymousInactiveI’ve just phoned Bryan to give him a heads up.

May 3, 2006 at 5:41 pm #690948AnonymousInactiveDom, I hope your host is putting that up to protect the entire data center… just protecting your own server will not stop a DDOS attack from leeching all of the bandwidth of your host…

My IT team say there are at least ten seperate servers involved in this round of attacks and that number is growing.I got knocked out today with DOS attack too. I am my IT team – not sure what I think I’m gonna do – other than wait it out.
