Yeah good point. I will post this publically as well.
May 3, 2006 at 1:43 pm #690870AnonymousInactiveplay-casino-games.online62.com is hosted in Israel. There is a surprise.
Anyone know off the top of their head the ripe IP allocation for Israel so I can block the entire country.
May 3, 2006 at 1:44 pm #690871vladcizsolMemberYes Greek, I know that. Thats why I said they would look familiar.
Boy I have a feeling this is going to be rough as they are not just attacking CAP but hitting our retail portals and communities as well.
I have my team in india cooking up a little counter response for them so their fun wont come without cost.

Thats really about all that will happen. That and another thing not so good. I believe 888 will give the scrapers a green light to continue on since there is no real check and balance in place anymore.I agree with the first part — decertifying them completely will send a strong message to the other programs. I think this course of action (along with a strongly-worded press release) would be a great idea. The second part, I’m not so sure about. Maybe 888 will give scrapers a green light — BUT — don’t forget about all of the blacklist and rogue pages that have been put up recently. I do believe that 888’s bottom line will be affected by the growning number of blacklist pages. In time, players will associate the 888 brands with stealing, scraping, and spamming. Intelligent, well-to-do players will not play at a rogue casino.
The ethical affiliates outnumber the unethical ones. Our reach is far greater than theirs. I truly believe we need to make an example out of 888 if we want to stamp out scraping in this industry. If you simply slap 888 on the wrist, this is not going to change the big picture much.
If I was doing it, I would add 888 to the scam alerts page, or perhaps create a new page where you can place rogue programs. The ultimate goal, as I’ve said before, is to cut off the income stream. CAP is a very influential site, and if you make a point to “warn” other affiliates via a blacklist page, and explain why affiliates shouldn’t promote the program — this will hurt 888’s bottom line.
I hope I am getting my point across clearly. Bottom line is, I think 888 needs to crushed, and the only way that is going to happen is if everyone pulls out all the stops.
May 3, 2006 at 1:51 pm #690874AnonymousInactiveHoly crap — you’re being attacked? :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:

Don’t make it public, let it come and keep it private. The scrapers are pissed!!
Yes I also took a lot of hits from the Ukraine the other day. But not enough to be termed a DDOS Attack and only one source. I imagined it was a scraper so blocked the IP.
May 3, 2006 at 1:54 pm #690876AnonymousInactiveThe scrapers will scrape your rogue pages and redirect. This would be the course of action. I would not make DDos atacks public. greek39
I let 10,000 through then unplugged and reconfig firewall. Then I returned fire!

After what Lou has just posted. I am in complete agreement.
Lou,
Excuse my language, but 888 are paying the scum who are currently attacking CAP. Enough is enough. F*ck them!
May 3, 2006 at 2:01 pm #690879vladcizsolMemberYep the attacks are ramping up. My IT team say there are at least ten seperate servers involved in this round of attacks and that number is growing.
Back to 888
I left a message for war to call me when he comes in. He works out of our California main office so its only 6:55 am. I am going to verify the status of their certifcation with us and try to move forward with decertification today.
I hope you guys understand we have legal contracts and insertion orders with them and we will have to ensure AP doesnt get sued for breach by terminating before the expiration of those orders. I think (actually hope) they are expiring this month.
If thats the case we should be able to get them out of here today.

Yet another damning bullet point for the press release.May 3, 2006 at 2:02 pm #690881AnonymousInactiveI agree fuck them 888.com can eat shit. I better watch my ass too.
The affs may be doing this because 888 is booting them because of us?
We can’t be sure 888 is behind this.
May 3, 2006 at 2:08 pm #690883AnonymousInactiveDominique wrote:The affs may be doing this because 888 is booting them because of us?That’s what I was thinking, too. Either they are being booted because of us, or perhaps a few affiliates saw their earnings drop in recent days thanks to all the bad press we created.May 3, 2006 at 2:08 pm #690885AnonymousInactiveA lot of us know about this stuff. I would keep a close eye on your sites for a while. This is bullshit!!! I saw this coming. greek39

This is most likely. But 888 shouldnt have given them a luxury lifestyle in the first place, living off other peoples hard work.
