I have an issue and I need some feedback.
I made a withdrawal from Poker Stars on Jan 6. By their rules, PS would only allow me to withdraw via Epassporte.
I do have a verified account with Epassporte, and they verified my withdrawal would be processed in 7 business days.

Subject: ePassporte Bank TransferDear _,
Your request to withdraw funds from your ePassporte account via electronic funds transfer to your bank account, ending in XXXX, has been received and is in process.
These funds have been sent to your bank and will become available for use in your account within 7 business days. Banks have their own policies regarding the time it takes to confirm and process these requests.
We will notify you immediately by email if we learn of any problem in processing that would delay the availability of these funds.
Thank you
The ePassporte TeamThis is the response I received when I emailed asking about my withdrawal (I’ve highlighted the only relevant portion of the email!):

not been processed.I haven’t heard another thing from Epassporte, and still nothing in my account.
So, I emailed Poker Stars, since they forced me to use Epassporte to make this withdrawal. Nothing from them either. No response.
First, why won’t Epassporte respond and let me know why they haven’t processed my withdrawal? Second, is is unreasonable for me to expect Poker Stars to look into this, since the only reason I had this problem is because they inisisted I use Epassporte for my withdrawal?

January 29, 2008 at 4:03 pm #759633AnonymousInactiveThanks Dom.
Poker Stars responded saying they have contacted Epassporte about this, asking the status of my withdrawal.
No word from Epassporte yet.
February 1, 2008 at 3:26 am #759865AnonymousInactivePS takes a lot longer than most poker rooms to process payout requests to epassporte. If I cash out of Absolute or UB its in my epassporte account usually the next day. FullTilt is also fast.
February 1, 2008 at 5:03 pm #759912FrankBlackMemberI’ve never had a problem with epassporte . I’ve withdrawn from many a site with it , but never PS .

February 6, 2008 at 2:30 pm #760209AnonymousInactiveHere’s an update:
I finally heard from Epassporte. They said that something was wrong with my account so that the transfer didn’t go through. Never mind that the account had already been verified by them! But somehow the money was not returned to my Epassporte account.
Note that they also did not let me know this for weeks, and then only after they were contacted by Poker Stars. The withdrawal from Poker Stars to Epassporte was almost instant btw.
I then withdrew to the money to AP and closed my account with Epassporte. No chance to burn me again.
I have no idea why Epassporte ignored my emails (they never addressed that issue), and didn’t return my funds when they say my withdrawal didn’t go through. I only know it happened, and I won’t deal with them again.

Sry to hear you had a problem with them. I too, had a mess of a problem with them over a small amount of money. After so many months, I told them to just keep it and close my acct.
Every now and again, I do get a payment from Full Tilt. I just get it in my acct and send it on to a friend who uses them often without a problem and he sends me the funds via another method. I do compensate him for his efforts (he will only accept like 10 bucks or so to play a tourney) It is still cheaper then most outgoing payment methods. Ok, so I do have to talk to him on the phone now and again.lol Tis ok, he’s my bud:tongue:
Should the occasion ever arise again and ya need help, let me know. I am sure he’d hook ya up being a friend of mine:)
February 16, 2008 at 12:59 pm #761029giftorgbestMemberI did not use epassporte before. I will try and get back to here.
