Shane,
I do not have a problem with you or corbus or your program, i think you all great, but this is ridiculous.
I have been an affiliate of over 2 years, every single month i get visits, clicks, downloads, registrations, players, BUT….not one single depositor in 2 Years?????
i am about ready to just stop promoting…i took Corbus’s advice and stopped promoting the Free chips, etc….but still…nothing.???
Does anyone else have this problem besides me?
April 20, 2008 at 1:49 pm #766118AnonymousInactiveTook me about a year to get going, but I sure don’t regret it.
Referback has been around for a very long time and has good retention, so seasoned players likely already have an account.
April 20, 2008 at 3:54 pm #766125AnonymousInactivePat I know it gets frustrating believe me I was the same way as you are right now a few yrs ago when I started to promote Referback and like Dom says it takes awhile to get off the ground with them but when you do they will retain your players for years to come.
I think that since they are such a great program that many of the seasoned affiliates have promoted them so much before you and they have attracted many of the players, this group has been massively exposed on the net over the years and there are many players that already have accounts. I would suggest trying new seo tatics and try to target a specific group of players with carefully chosen keywords etc.
April 20, 2008 at 4:57 pm #766129LucretiaMembertook me over a year and a half to get a few depositing players but like bonusstreak said many players around the world have a registered account already. Besides that after jackpot city casino decided not to take US players anymore I have to attract other players.
because it are good casinos and Cobus is very good to work with I leave them on my sites no matter what :wink-wink
If you get bellerock players most of the time they come back and play again, so this should be worth the effort.try other banners tell players why to play at bellerock etc.

Not to derail the thread, but I think your signature link is supposed to say Free instead of Fee. It’s funny how dropping only one letter can convey the opposite of what was intended.

patJune 13, 2008 at 1:48 am #770002AnonymousInactiveI actually managed to get a depositor this month who then promptly disappeared from my stats. I questioned it and got this reply:
“Please be advised that We have an automated process which links new accounts to existing Customers based on 100% registration matches.
This is standard, and has always been the case. (This is where we identify new depositors)
We have now introduced an additional manual process to link accounts to Customers based on 70% – 80% matches.
This process requires manual inspection, and therefore cannot be done on-the-fly.
This process might benefit certain affiliates, and it might detriment other affiliates.
So some affiliates will see an increase in Actives/new depositors, while others will see a decrease.
The process is completely fair, and accurate. No one is being cheated, we are simply making our Customer linking process more accurate”
June 13, 2008 at 2:46 am #770003AnonymousInactiveI think its great to see someone making a true effort to sort stats properly.
