InactiveIt’s blackmail.
I hope they just don’t know shit about the affiliate business.

MemberThe email frightens me as it shows:
1. They are totally clueless about the affiliate business. Its unlikely they realize the value we bring to the table and its doubtful they will see paying us as a high priority.
2. They write incoherently, so they arent terribly sharp. Our money is in foolish hands.
3. They are trying to sweep everything under the rug and are prone to trying to blackmail people.I am a lot less confident that this company will surive. And perhaps thats a good thing as they dont seem very sound or ethical.

InactiveIs that the kind of letter you send to your electrical company when you can’t pay? Shut up or I won’t ever pay?
Only if you want to sit in a dark, cold house.

InactiveWhat is the latest on this? Has ANYONE heard back from the ‘Casino Licensee’ on being paid for affiliate payments.
I know I would like to get paid!!!
Casino Licensee wrote:We will require a further 7 days to resolve this issue as we are not
going to see a response from the Owners and any solution can only
come from the software supplier.I was hoping that since they said 7 days…. and that ended about 16 hours ago… that someone else may have heard back.

MemberNothing from these shit birds.
My gut feeling is they will pay a limited number of players while they are seeking a buyer. If they arent acquired I suspect they will close the doors.
I am not optomistic that affiliates will be paid anytime soon (if ever), though obviously I hope that assessment is wrong.

InactiveI really hate shit birds.
I hope otherwise, be fear that you are correct.

InactiveHaven’t heard anything about payments except that they are trickling out to players, but I do know there is at least one (very reputable!) outfit interested in buying.

MemberWe spoke with the Owner of Hype Gaming (Steve Sorenson) last night and he indicated there was litigation pending between his group and Firebrand and that until this was cleared up funds could not be released. We dont have a timeline on when this will occur, but usually once lawyers and courts get involved it takes months or even years to settle these sort of disputes.
Oddly enough Steve stated that Dixcourt was committed to the brand and the industry and were looking at other software platforms. When we told him it would difficult or impossible to maintain the brand if current affiliates werent paid first he said they have every intention of paying affiliates when it was possible.

InactiveThere are so many stories going around, I’m not even sure what to believe anymore.

MemberThis is directly from the owner of the group, so its a little more then a watercooler rumor.
We have additional info which cant be discussed which leads me to believe this is not a minor dispute which can be solved amicably between Dix Court (what an appropriate name) and Casino Licensee.
OBTW I tried contacting Casino Licensee repeatedly and they are NOT responding.

InactiveI guess what I mean is that direct from the other side it is quite a different story… Who to believe…
