Hi all,
This is the way how partypartners (the affiliate program of partybets, partypokers, partycasino, partybingo and gamebookers) rip me on 28.000€.
I signup as affiliate on December 2006.
they have a promotion where when you send more than 100 players/month every quarter you become a VIP member (with commission increased…).i work a lot to bring players to partybets and gamebookers and i have the lucky of several webmaster start using my tracking codes.
(one way of partypartners tracking players is by a bonus code, exclusive for every affiliate)
I bring on may 173 players and 243 on june (and many more before)
when i query partypartners about the vip program the affiliate manager say that vip program doesn’t exist, two days later my account as suspended.
I send several e-mails to my affiliate manager and past 45 days he say my account is terminated because fraud traffic.
On partypartners a player only count when he/she deposit and wager x value.
When i enquire where that traffic are come from (cowntry) no explanation was given and the last e-mail i receive was this:
“Your account is closed. You won’t be receiving any further commissions from PartyGaming per letter sent to you and this will be the last email I send to you.”So if you are thinking on become a partybets, partypokers, partycasino, partybingo and gamebookers affiliate beware because this guys are scammers
July 9, 2007 at 1:00 pm #741995AnonymousInactiveWell, first of all this is not the first warning about Party Partners that has been posted on this board.
i work a lot to bring players to partybets and gamebookers and i have the lucky of several webmaster start using my tracking codes.
What do you mean – they posted your bonus codes on their sites?
Did you give your players any incentive to signup?
July 9, 2007 at 1:07 pm #741999GoldenMemberI dont give incentive to players because that violate terms and conditions.
PartyPartners start partybets on december and im one of 1st’s afilliates starting promoting the site, so i place a bonus code on severall foruns (with permission from owners) after a google search i found some webmasters starting using that bonus code (lucky me) thinking was an official code for partybets (they maybe dont know what is a tracking code). They use the tracking url but advertise my code and the code overide the tracking url.
July 9, 2007 at 1:33 pm #742003vladcizsolMemberSomething sounds amazingly shady here. So you thought it was ok to receive sign ups and traffic credits from other webmasters without their knowledge and considered that “Lucky You”?
I wouldnt be surprised to find out there was other “lucky” things going on that caused your account to be suspended.
July 9, 2007 at 1:40 pm #742004Maxfalcon1MemberWhy doesn’t PartyPartners have a discussion forum in the Affiliate programme part?
I also signed up last October. My business started quite slowly with Party, but since ours is a poker school and we educate our players, so they usually start with very low stakes, I didn’t mind.
Since last October I only earned like $700 all together from them, but they are not a major partner for us, so I didn’t care too much. But with the revshare programme, the players started to come, and the income was going up very slowly month by month.
Sure enough by the time we started to make money, they came up with an excuse saying that all our player’s accounts were duplicate accounts (not true, I am not sure about all of them, but about 90% was surely not) and that we owe them the $700 back and they are not going to pay us for our players in the future either.
The only thing I don’t understand is how come that affiliate programmes like this can be certified? We have no way of making sure the affiliate agreements are honored, only to trust the website and get them the business. And the only way we can choose our partners is to look here and ask around. Wouldn’t it be possible to set stricter requirements for certifying programmes?
Here some say that there had been warnings before… But then why are those warnings not posted with huge letters on the main page?
July 9, 2007 at 1:44 pm #742006GoldenMemberin the beginning i was happy about that, i send a warning to some webmasters but dont have any reply, so is not my fault…
From my side i never send fake players to any site i advertise.
If someone work with partypartners, knows about a “vip program” advertised until May.
There is an aswer about that program:
“ I would like to inform you that the VIP Program at our end is still not developed. We don’t have any features in it yet. Thus, you can continue working as affiliate and I will provide you the required support.”
So, how a company advertise a product and create incentives if the product is not yet developed?
That is i call scam
July 9, 2007 at 1:45 pm #742007supervinceMemberThose other webmasters using your tracking codes could have been the ones sending the fraud traffic. If they aren’t smart enough to use their own tracking codes then they probably aren’t smart enough to read the TOC.
July 9, 2007 at 1:49 pm #742009vladcizsolMemberI will be happy to check with Party and see what can be done. Please PM me your Party ID. But be aware if there is fraudulent activity within your account Party will suspend you. There are thousands of Party Affiliates who have worked with them for years and never had a problem with them, myself included.
In the past whenever I have checked on a problem for affiliates its ALWAYS turned out to be a dispute about multiple player accounts or CPA scams and such, but I will keep an open mind and try to find out whats happened in your case and get a resolution.
July 9, 2007 at 2:22 pm #742013GoldenMemberThanks Professor,
I’m almost shure that partyparters going to say i have fraud traffic, bla bla bla… just to not pay me. My account is already closed.
I request several times a report with player countries and never get any answer.
I had choose CPA on bets, i only promote the sportbook, so its impossible to have fraud.
A player is only a real player when he deposit and wager an x value and is not possible to transfer any bonus ammount to other players
I also offer to switch to revenue share if my CPA levels are to high for the player deposits. never get any answer.
I was thinking start a big campaign on my cowtry on press and i say that to partypartners, but with scams like this i will never trust party group again.
See the example of VIP affiliate…
My main reason for this thread is to warning other webmasters about that programs.
July 9, 2007 at 8:04 pm #742050AnonymousInactiveAs I understand, Party found out players who got old accounts and then opened new one. So they removed all aff earnings for those new accounts. 2+2 has a big fuss as many rakeback programs (and players hence) suffered.
I was hit myself (about monthly earnings amount and looks like some active players were removed ) though I never offered any incentives.July 11, 2007 at 1:46 am #742168Maxfalcon1MemberSome of them might have been duplicates, but I doubt that so many accounts were duplicate. Moreover I know about accounts that were for sure not duplicate and they say so.
The other thing is that now they say that players on Empire Poker who also have a Party Poker account count as duplicate accounts. The funny thing is that I asked this question from my affiliate manager about 2 months ago, and he said having Party and Empire account as well is absolutely fine!!!
What is shady in all this is that the player accounts were not closed, but removed from the affiliates. Now explain this to me: if they find out the account is a duplicate, how come they don’t close the duplicate account and ban the player? Because these are not duplicate accounts!!!!
My opinion is that they simply don’t want to pay affiliates and this indicates to me that they are in trouble. What I don’t understand is how can they think that they are not getting into much bigger trouble by fooling their affiliates? I mean my players are going to Bodog and all cashing out from Party and Empire for sure!
