We all know that artificially generated pages is Spam.
Now, I’m talking about hand made pages with content etc.
Which is the daily limit to avoid a spam practice?
2-3 maybe?thanks
January 4, 2007 at 3:11 pm #720873AnonymousInactiveTough question, I would take it slow and steady. For me if I working on my site maybe a page/week. Takes a while for the SE’s to digest the new material.

What percentage content growth is considered spam?
In other words, if you have 2 pages and add 10, thats a lot. If you have 1000 pages and add 10, not so much.
January 4, 2007 at 5:34 pm #720901NetPalMemberI am agree with Domique : depend from old pages that you have.
If you think in this forum the addded pages are more of 10.
the website can be considered spam.[ In my website I think to add about 2/3 pages to day. ( 3 news to week ). ]
January 4, 2007 at 5:38 pm #720902biggygMemberI think it also depends on the age and stage of the website.I have one website i have added over 40 pages to in last 48 hours and i have another older site i may add one page per month.I think the quality of the content is the key.

I have NO DOUBT, though, that the SE’s will flag those sites for manual review.
I have added 1000 pages to a site in a single day with a php page pulling from a database with no ill effect. All content, though, was unique and created by me.
If you add a bunch of pages via RSS feed or scraping or otherwise, you will just be penalized and, likely, banned.
January 4, 2007 at 7:51 pm #720939biggygMemberI made #1 in google for the first time today , I think i need to go buy an expensive steak now at The Keg lol .It’s a top secret key word that got me 1 visitor and im not sharing :tounge2:
January 4, 2007 at 8:47 pm #720958AnonymousInactiveThe idea that there is a limit of pages per day seems strange to me.
We write preview pages for football games, one page per game, sometimes there are zero pages added – sometimes as much as 30 pages.
Additionally, I host a blog on my site, and each post has a unique URL, sometimes we might add 2-3 blogs a day.
Sometimes “SEO experts” come up with the strangest metrics …
